How much snus do you use?

OK let me see if I am getting this right. Would a 4 mg. mini equal 1/2 a smoke? I do 6 to 8 minis a day and would love to know if that is equivalent to 3 or 4 smokes a day.

sagedil, so yesterday morning I had run out of smokes and decided not to buy a pack and see how that went when I got an urge. So I lasted all day and most of the night without a problem. Everytime i got a craving I popped a Thunder Frost in, or a regular if I just finished an ES. Worked great till about 8:30 pm. I got this craving so bad, and I know it was mental, because I followed up an ES with another ES to kill the craving and it did not even dent it. I had to run out to meet a friend and broke down and bought a pack. Had one. Man, they are tasting nastier and nastier by the day. The craving went away, and I did one more ES before bed.

And I failed again this morning, and had 2 smokes. lol. No worries, I am not upset. I know it takes time, as we discussed. I am ok with the cigs i am having as it is miniscule compared to my habit before snus. But damn, if I had not given in last night, I would have not had any cigs this morning, so I would have been forced to not have a cig and pop a snus in. So close. lol.

Weekend coming up. I am much worse about having cigs on the weekends since I am home and not as busy, so this weekend will be a good challenge for me.

Get a pack of your most least favorite smokes, something you really hate, and then even while using snus, if you get the urge to smoke, pull one out, and then after a puff or 2, you'll think, gawd, this is terrible.

Typically a roll for 9-10 days

-portion between breakfast and lunch
-portion between lunch and dinner
-pris after dinner
-either no more or a few more after dinner depending on what I'm doing that evening. All too easy to go through a full can if I'm drinking, though.

Snus Use

Well this has been something that has been on my mind for a while. So I was reading what others are using per day and I am not sure I am in the same league.

When I started it was to ween myself off cigarettes. I started with just using two or three a day. Now I find that I am snusing all day. Probably about 10-15 a day depending on how stressed out the day is for me. Is that a bad thing. I think since I have a abundant supply my use has increased and also because I really enjoy all the different flavors and brands available I always want to try them all.

I meet with Markus and Joakim from Swedish Match back in November and they were telling me that most Swedish users are using about a can a day. So I guess I am not that bad but still at times I think that my snus intake might be too much.

I average keeping a portion in about an hour and a half. If I snus all day, that might be 6-8 a day. Recently I've been using 4 a day at work, and using other oral tobacco when I get home.

2-3 portions during the day, and I typically leave them in for an hour or two. That seems to get me through. I like to enjoy some Roda Lacket lös in the evening while relaxing. A tasty way to cap off the day!
