    Kiss my BUTT Northerner

    Hello my old cronies!

    Northerner is so F I R E D ! ! !

    They regularly hosed our orders.
    When we placed our orders we verified that they had inventory. When we checked back on our orders we would find that they were held up due to inventory shortages.

    We placed an order about 10 days ago. The items we ordered are STILL showing as in stock but the order hasn't shipped yet.
    Sent emails last week asking for a status... no reply.
    Today I requested a cancellation of the order... and am hopeful it will actually cancel.

    T E R R I B L E company.

    Yesterday, I placed an order with SNUSCentral.... and it shipped first thing this morning.
    THAT is what I expect E V E R Y T I M E.

    During the next couple of months I will be trying out various companies to replace Northerner.

    I am on the LEFT COAST of the US and am open to suggestions... anyone?

    If you are a provider and feel you can offer better service/delivery times than Northerner, feel free to message me. :-)

      Just stick with buysnus and snus central (makewebo). There is no reason to seek out any others. Honestly, and BuLLitz I'm not directing any disrespect our contempt your way at all, I am rather sick of seeing these threads from North American customers who have a choice. I am slightly angered and annoyed in my attempt to understand why anyone in this half of the world KEEPS ORDERING FROM NORTHERNER. And when they do, inevitably they will come on here and bitch about the same things that EVERYONE WHO KEEPS ORDERING FROM NORTHERNER continues to bitch about. At this point, if you order from Northerner, and you have the choice of using other companies, you are getting what you deserve.

      There are red flags all over this website, explaining in colorful detail exactly how your next order from Northerner is going to get delayed, how your emails will go unanswered, and how eventually only part of your order will be shipped until the rest of your snus is back in stock, and how a month later you will finally have everything you ordered, but your money will be removed from your account the minute you confirm an order that shows that everything is in stock when really none of it is.

      It's like paying someone to punch you in the face, then going around telling everyone that it really hurts to get punched in the face and it's not fair that you got hurt like that.

      If any of you are still on the fence about who to order from, and you're uncomfortable paying $32 for shipping, ask yourself these questions: 1) are you ordering enough snus that the price-per-can, after shipping, is something you are comfortable with? Personally, I think $3 per can is a great price, and you really don't have to order that much to get there. 2) Is that Pioneer, or your loyalty to Northerner, or the cheaper shipping worth waiting 2 to 6 weeks for your snus when you could have it in 72 hours using a different distributor? 4) If taxes are the issue, would you rather deal with delay, disaster, and utterly piss-poor customer service ALL YEAR LONG, or would you rather go online in April, print out your order history, and spend 15 minutes filling out an extra tax form in exchange for a year's worth of lightning-fast snus delivery and exceptional customer service?

      I am curious about the replies to this. I am genuinely baffled why anyone in this country would say to themselves: "gee, all my last orders from Northerner have been severely delayed, and everyone on Snuson posts a weekly horror story about dealing with them, but I'd better not use anyone else this time and stick with good ol' Northerner, I'm sure they will eventually get it right and someday show that they care about their customers"....

      That's it for my rant I guess. BuLLitz, I'm really not directing anything negative toward you brother, sorry to throw this rant up in response to your thread. I'm sorry that happened to you, it totally sucks. I am also on the left coast and buysnus gets my snus to my door typically 60 hours after I order it. Every 6th roll is half price. That is my suggestion. Peace.

          i really like Oden's extra strong loose. not the extreme stuff but the regular Oden's es loose. I only use it once a day but I look forward to my Oden's. I've been doing the once a day Oden's since they first released it whenever that ways... but it's been a while.

          i normally order from buysnus but the problem is buysnus don't sell Oden's es loose. I don't buy 15 rolls at a time because i only use it once a day. So I end up ordering around five cans from northener every month or so.

          Well, we know what's been going on with northerner and my Oden's has been getting low. I held out as long as I could before ordering any. I ordered 7 cans of snus. 5 cans of odens and 2 cans of some other crap i wanted.

          I have to use a different shipping address than my billing address. so before I ordered i made sure my default shipping address was correct and my default billing address was correct. The KEY word here is "default" and all were correct. right after i ordered i noticed that it said it was going to use my default billing address as the shipping. So like a moron I opened a ticket to tell them.

          first off i am not sure they ever understood what i was talking about. but they told me next time to use my shipping address as my billing address. yes they told me to correct their issue by using my shipping address as my billing address. now folks i ain't no expert but most credit card companies will check to make sure your billing address matches what they have on file. if it don't they reject the charge. anyway..

          so i reply and just say please ship to my default mailing address which is ... and listed my address again.

          well my order still did not go out. this is not the first time I had a problem with them and this one is not the end of the world. i am just, well, dumbfounded when it happens. a few cans of odens is not worth paying shipping from Sweden and the place i normally buy from don't sell it anyway.

                Back when it was still possible, I always ordered from Buysnus.com. They were fast and reliable and their bonus points were very good and simple to work out. Notherner was always slower and their bonus points... well, let's just say they sucked. Sadly, nowadays, I'm stuck with Northerner.

                  I am in same situation I ordered for 10 days ago, and my status is still "Complete", but not "Shipped". I have tried to email them and almost begging them to send my order, but no reply. Im so disapointed...i ordered for 100 euro.

                  Do you guys think they will send sometime AT LEAST, or have they scammed me?
                  I dont know what to do

                    They haven't scammed you. They're just swamped from their website being broken for a while. Try asking them about it on Facebook.

                      I ordered through BuySnus a few days ago. Ordered on a saturday/sunday night I think, they shipped it like 11 AM on monday. Fantastic. I've heard so much shit about Northerner I didn't even bother with them. Also I think BuySnus had a better selection.

                        I think the same with the selection. But if you're in Sweden, why are you ordering online? I really like BuySnus, but unless they have a big sale like they did, it's not really economical for my to buy from them here. Only if I'm buying several rolls.

                          I was previously a supporter of Northerner.

                          Now I am a believer in Snus central. I can't fault Northerner's customer service in any way as they have so far made right the many mixups on their end. For example shipping from 2 separate warehouses and charging UPS shipping for 2 cans of Thunder ultra, then having to endure a delay awaiting regular post, which is usually a 50 - 50 chance in this country of it even making it to the central post office.

                          However when I placed my order on the 15th with snus central and just received it about 30 min ago my mind is blown to say the least.

                          I live in the middle east, so prompt delivery is usually a foreign concept as are physical mailing address systems. To get fast shipping is unreal to say the least.

                          After the revamp of the Northerner's web page, and the STEEP increase of shipping cost I chose snus central and I will not use anyone else now. And for the record the Northerner's new site sucks.

                          With northerner typically "fresh" snus is about 1 - 2 months to expiry (out of 5 orders placed so far), with this new order only 2 cans out of 26 expire this year (Dec) the rest is out to Feb - March of next year. Now that's fresh!

                          The shipping used to be reasonable. Now Northerner wants over 50 bucks for ~ 25 cans. With Snus central it was 36 USD which made my day. Paying less for General per roll was just an added bonus.

                          Send a support ticket with Northerner, Amy is a fantastic person to deal with and is quite excellent in the customer service department. She is one of the reasons that I placed a second order after the first screw up. Its unfortunate in today's world that excellent customer service is rare, so I value that almost exclusively above price. Almost that is, with a 100% hike in shipping cost and a crappy web page it did drive me away.

                          I hope they are paying attention and correct their faults, as this is the only way I will come back as a customer.

                            I think Sweden has stupid high taxes on snus, also I'm sure shipping costs way less for them than us in the states.
