Mabye not entirely correct considering that Jakobsson's also uses Swedish tobacco, but if it is going to made with only Swedish tobacco it will definitely be something to look forward to

Actually considering how good Retro is I look forward to it regardless..

I wouldn't expect too much from a subtropical plant grown in the Swedish climate. There's certainly a reason that the last farmer has given up in 1964, long before tobacco became "politically incorrect"!

Sure, but I doubt that this tobacco will be better than what's normally used for snus. Nonetheless, I'd find it interesting to try a snus that goes back to the roots. I wonder if the webshops will sell the snus or if it will only be given to selected people in Sweden. :roll:

It was gone before I had a chance to get some. I may not have anyway since my money situation's been pretty crappy lately, but otherwise I'd grab a can if available. I'm a sucker for nice packaging, and it would be interesting to try.

Imo, limited editions like that should be a primarily a lös release. It's a more natural experience, and I think it better showcases the snus makers art.
