Most disgusting Snus you've ever had?

Congratulations Skell! It's funny isn't it? Most of us on this forum have found a product that really works to help people quit smoking but most people refuse to even give snus an honest look.

Cheers mate, and yup very true, most people when I have spoken to them about it have instantly dismissed it as causing mouth cancer (as if they are the scientific authority on the matter) and that if they were to quit they would use pharmaceutical methods. Its brainwashing by the antis that all tobacco is bad, where if people just did some research, as all of us did, they would be enlightened!

i like it because it's not sweet... i am gonna have to sample some of that deep heat stuff, it might be good haha. i mostly use general es loose but i keep some thunder wintergreen and some thunder cool mint around. tell you the truth, it seems like anytime i find a snus i like they quit making it. maybe that should tell me something :-(

Skell18 it looks like you just had your one year quit smoking anniversary. good job on that. my six year quit smoking happens in July. it took me a few years of snusing to completely quit but i made it. ten years ago i would have never believed it could be done.

For me wintergreen can only work if its sweet, otherwise its just too nasty! Deep heat is great if you have muscle pain but not in your mouth

They can drop thunder wintergreen anytime, I won't miss it, just don't get rid of Gen ES!!! I love it too much!!

Yup 1 year completely off the smokes, been using snus on and off for 6 years after trying it in Sweden and kept getting it from time to time as I enjoyed it but didn't wan to quit smoking, this time was different and it worked

Thunder wintergreen is so bad because unlike most american wintergreen products, its not sweet at all, so just tastes like a mouthful of deep heat! Add into it that odd burning drip it gives out and you have the recipe for one of the all time vilest snuses ever made! It just doesn't float my boat but, the world would be dull if we all liked the same things.

i have this thing about stats, ranks, etc. thought it might be interesting to find out which snuses are considered the worst. at least the worst on this thread. i won't promise that i did not make any mistakes. it's not that easy to sift through everyone's comments to find their worst snus. regardless it is real close to accurate. i normalized some of the names and took out some generalizations like "offroad", "thunder" but am including those too.

Overall the only ones that surprised me was General Wintergreen and Thunder Wintergreen being on the list and so high up. I like both. At the same time, it became clear from sifting through all the comments that many people don't like any kind of wintergreen. Even that surprised me a little although I already kind of knew that but not sure why haha.

I carefully went through the list of everyone else's worst and skim off what I would pick. Although some others rank higher on the list these are the brands that almost make me barf.

That Chaini Khaini Saffron..... oh boy. Anyone out there like that stuff? Elixyr.. what can I say about that stuff? Jakobsson's Ice Fruit... Hall's cough drops are a lot better tasting. Kronan = pine cones & turpentine... Marlboro... I tried one "flavor" of it that tasted like some sort of tree bark. the ones after that don't deserve to have much said about them other than the bottom two.... in one word => windex

other than those i can use just about anything. i could use offroad if i was forced but i would quit before i used Kronan
