I don't know about the rest of you guys, but this PACT tax stuff is a mite confusing. This upcoming Jan. will be the first year I will need to pay taxes on snus purchased from Sweden and the website for taxes in Illinois is the usual governmental gobbledegook.
All I can find are forms for tobacco distributors not end users. Are there any resources out there for a regular working stiff to at least try to do the right thing and pay taxes on this sort of thing?
I can't see the reason why states would make this so difficult. If it was a simplified thing I bet more people would do the right thing.
BTW, I refuse to use Northerner because I hate the way they package rolls and really don't care for the lackadaisical way they run their business.
