On the forum we're pretty educated about snus apart from obviously the noobies. You're right about the UK though - absoloutely nobody knows anything about it and nobody wants to try it, which I find face smackingly frustrating.

Yes your level of knowledge seems very adequate! Was more thinking in a cultural aspect - if there is anything anyone wants to know about how people use snus over here, or anything on the topic.

One thing that seems to be different is the amount used - I easily finish a can within 24 hours, usually 1.5 cans (regardless if it's loose or portion). And that doesn't make me extreme here in any way. A guy I work with does 3 cans of loose (Ettan) every day.

And I have to say how amazingly fun it is to see you guys use expressions like "pris" and "prilla" in English. they are not used so much these days in Sweden.

Hi folks, just wanted to introduce myself!

Stumbled across this page today through another forum. I got a sample of Odens extreme loose yesterday and decided to google it, and here I am.

Have been doing snus for over 15 years on a daily basis, mostly portion due to discreteness but love my lös (which I had to give up as a teenager when I got braces, so decided to stick with portion).

I just thought it would be interesting to exchange experiences with snusers who are fairly new to it all, both the people themselves and the societies they represent. Still when travelling abroad, mostly in the UK, people have never heard of or tried snus (unless they have a Scandinavian friend).

I would guess that 8 out of 10 of my male friends do snus on a regular basis. 2-3 out of 10 females.

So, feel free to ask anything if you wish, if not then I'll move on and start exploring the forum!
