EU SNUS BAN - EU Stops Import of Snus in the EU

For the people in the EU, this is a really sad day, even worse than the last few.

No one will be able to order snus online AT ALL, or have it sent by someone from Sweden. At least that's what the custom's office told me earlier on the phone.

You can bring snus for personal use though back in any country of the EU.

I guess quitting snus is the only option for now and **** knows what will replace it apart from dip.

The customs told me that US can still send in smokeless american tobacco though.

and the law has to have some sort of public announcement

They can't just send a secret directive to customs to seize all ski gloves with out telling those who buy and sell ski gloves.

Where is the announcement (besides that of SM)

It has always been illegal to "IMPORT" Snus from anywhere to the EU

Import means...............for resale

You might call back and rephrase your question................or ask for clarification on the answer.

e.g.

"Can an individual have snus shipped here for personal consumption and what is the limit per shipment?"

and

"I understood the law defined IMPORT as bringing snus into the country for the purpose of resale (not personal consumption)"

and if they should persist

"Can you or anyone there refer me to the law upon which your answer is based"

by the way the weird thing is that I have two packages on the way to Romania since 22 Frebruary. (it's like 12 days now ... never took 2 weeks to receive a package in Europe)
