The Next generation of American Snus

Hey yall havent posted in a while as my snus consumption has been limited to the general I can get at the local tobacco store, so coming on here just made me depressed that I couldnt get better snus.
But anyways I wanted to find out why no one hasn't mentioned the new Skoal and new Marlboro snus. From the promos ive seen in gas stations and grocery stores, both will be steering towards the swedish can design. Does this mean we can expect a new generation of quality American snus? Probably not but a man can dream right?
What are people's thoughts and does anyone have any info? And if this has already been mentioned my bad

Marlboro snus is being switched to a round-can design? That sounds interesting. I can buy General snus at Speedway for $3.50 per can when I purchase two at a time, so I'm not too worried. Anyway, do you have any pictures of the new Skoal and Marlboro snus?

They're still selling the sealed pouches with 6 portions here (Marlboro).

This is the first I'm hearing of them switching to the Swedish can design. I hope they're also switching to a Swedish-style snus. The sealed pouch version is a ****ing joke (portions are dry as a bone, and its not as satisfying as Swedish snus).

But, I'll definitely give it another shot when they make the switch. Do you have any photos?

                You mean this?

Yeah it's not snus, it's dip. It's pretty tasty, same kind of flavor as copenhagen long cut and grizzly 1900. The cut is weird though and tends to wander around my mouth and get stuck in odd places.

I'd buy american if the processing was per the Swedish approach. If you're like me and it's about harm reduction.......gotta go with Swedish snus.

Yes, we know that Dip. Only available in certain west-coast states and Florida. I believe it has already been discontinuted by Camel.

I'm not much interested in anything American companies have to offer. They've shown complete disregard for proper snus craft up till now, and if nothing else they should be punished for such, even if they somehow produced something tolerable. That's all it would be, I'm sure; "tolerable". I don't see them making anything that'll compete 1v1 with the Swedish brands.

Right. I was talking to Rattlesnake. Guess I should have used the quote.

And now they're screwed, anyway. Because I just came home from Speedway with a cappucino for my wife, and 5 cans of General.
