Lucky! I really like this years going by the pictures. The cord wrap, and bit of china in the box nail it for me. I'm a fan of old crap, and history, so I think the china is pretty neat. I'm the type that can pickup a bit of old plate from freshly turned earth, and ponder it for 10 minutes, and then stick it in my pocket. I have crap all over the house I've found when out. None of it is particularly valuable, but it's old, and stimulates the imagination :^)

I received it yesterday so had my first pris last night. Hillbilly (bonde) pinch. First of all I love the grind. If Ettan, Grov or Gellivare came in that cut I would buy nothing else. Ever. I had it in for about an hour (which I never do) and there was no mudslide despite prodding it numerous times to get more flavour.

The taste is hard to describe and I would like to spend more time with it before passing final judgement but what I will say is that it is without a shadow of a doubt the most amazing tobacco flavoured snus I have ever had - rich, complex and exactly what I had hoped it would be. The Arrack is not all that noticeable, and the tobacco flavour definitely dominates.

Was it worth it? I guess it depends on how you view these things. The price is steep, in fact I would say at $139 (which is what I paid with EU taxes) it is close to being too steep, but on the other hand it is a once a year purchase so in that respect its not a massive outlay.

Overall, I would compare it with a really good single malt whisky (which I have spent far more on) in that it is not something you would use every day - despite wishing you could. Instead, it is for those special occasions when you want nothing but the best snus available. If you are able to afford it, or lucky enough to still get hold of a can, you should buy it - immediately.

Ahhhh...I don't wanna open my eyes. With over $20/can price for me it should be easy to say no, but if I can find a way before it's too late..... I have a buddy who uses me for all his orders, so shipping would be paid if he's ready to reorder..and I know he just broke into his last roll . Hmmm...now if I figure in a handling fee.......
