I've been on snus for about 2 years I guess now and really liked offroad wintergreen fine cut loose. I chewed skoal for about 20 years and the offroad was actually pretty good I thought. I now can't find anyone that sells it. I tried the offroad wintergreen long cut but thought it was horrible, didn't have the same taste at all. I ordered a brick of offroad wintergreen portion and that's what I'm using right now. Does anyone know if offroad stopped their fine cut wintergreen line? If not where can I order it from now, I'm in the U.S. And if they have stopped it is there any other fine cut wintergreen that anyone else knows about? The portion is ok but just not the same.

As someone who switched to snus from dip, I can't blame you for wanting the loose. Portions never satisfied me either. The only time I use portioned tobacco is in uptight social settings where loose tobacco just isn't appropriate.

Sorry, but I can't help you on your Offroad dilemma. Hopefully someone can.

Although, I haven't snused regularly in about two months. PACT sent me back to dip because I never liked any of the cheap snus and I just wasn't able to spend the difference. I've given the cheaper snus a chance to grow on me, but it's just not happening. I know...I know.... you should never put a price on your health.

Wish I could help, but could not find that snus on Northerner or Buysnus. Maybe contact V2 or Northerner to find out what the deal is. If it's discontinued you might be able to buy an entire "run" of it like PP did with coffe/vanilla I know you're looking for loose but if you haven't tried Jak's wintergreen strong portions they are great. Or you could get a mild tasting snus and add your own wintergreen maybe. Good Luck!

Although I can't help you find the fine cut [just check all the suppliers] I will say that OffRoad is continueing to tweek their flavors. You might see a big difference from one batch [best by date] to another. I have about 7 different batches of the OR coffe/vanilla and they each taste somewhat different. Its not really a bad thing... just different. So its possible that if you wait a while and reorder from your latest supplier or simply change suppliers that your next batch will taste a little different. OffRoad, being a younger manufacturer, is always trying to improve their product as well as their customer service. You won't find another company that appreciates their customers as much as they do. It was discontinued. I know, it sucks. It was one of my favorites too. Fortunately, I stocked up when I heard the news. I still have around 5 rolls in the freezer. PM me your address and I'll send you a couple of cans to tide you over until you find a reasonable replacement.

I've been toying with the idea of flavoring some "natural" flavor los with some wintergreen flavor extract. If I try it, I'll let everyone know how it turns out. There's also that snusx bucket thing, haven't checked it out yet though. I don't know if they have a wintergreen option.

Edit: I just took a look at the snusx website and I guess it comes already in portion bags. I thought there was something similar for loose snus. But, the good news is wintergreen is one of the flavors offered. I would think you could order the flavoring separate.

You can buy the snusX alone and buy the flavorings separate. I'd recommend trying SnusX first. If you'd like, PM me and I'll send you a can of the portions. It's okay but nothing to write home about other than you can flavor it yourself and well, it is cheaper.

Also, as a lover of wintergreen I highly recommend Jakobson's wintergreen. Yes it is a portion but it is the most delicious wintergreen snus imo. I was big on Skoal Original for a while before I got into snus and was using the Offroad longcut and fc lower deck when I made the switch. Now I don't even think about it anymore.

SnusX does come in los but you'd be hard pressed to get it shipped to the US.
