My favorite snus turned on me.

Just fell out of love with Ettan this week.

I bought some smoked haddock for tea the other day and being short on cash opted for a chemical smoked fillet that used smoke flavouring. As I do most nights, I baked a prilla of Ettan los as an after dinner treat and was instantly revisited by the salty smokey haddock flavor. Up till now the smoke flavour used in Ettan had mingled nicely with the tobacco. This is sadly no more the case. I now only taste artificial smoked haddock.

:^D I'm sorry to hear that. I still love my Ettan. If you want a natural snus without smoke, try Gellivare and Landströms. They're both excellent, can be used in similar situations as Ettan, but don't have smoke.

That's bad news mate - especially if you've got a roll in your fridge.
I was a huge fan of N&J and all of a sudden - basically overnight, it turned on me and I had a roll and a half in the freezer. Even to this day I can't stand it.

As for smoked haddock - bad smoked haddock is really really bad. I like my fish and can't stand it un-fresh or badly smoked as it really turns me for days after - especially a bad smoked haddock.
I'd suggest paying a bit more and getting it from Marks & Spencers if you can as it's always good there.

I prefer the Gellivare slightly over the Landstroms but I am so glad they brought this snus to the United States. I can use it all day and not get bored with it.

Ettan Los is one of my favorites.. Too bad you don't live in the states i'd be more than happy to take them off your hands in trade or purchase..
