I love it and order it more than any other kind. Wish it came in a Maxi size or a stronger flavor. Need it daily. Makes breath smell nice as well.

Although GW has an impressive burn when first put in it quickly settles down to a very mild and pleasant taste that lasts a good while. I was sure before I tried it that wintergreen flavors were not for me but it appears that is definitely not the case.

This is now MY snus. I use to like traditional snus, but for whatever reason I can no longer tolerate it. In comes General Wintergreen. A friend and I first tried it in a sampler and it was a religious experience. A snus with NO bad taste whatsoever. Amazing snus. Also won't make females avoid you like the plague.

The first few times I tried GW, I absolutely hated it, but recently i've started to buy an occasional can for the refreshing wintergreen mint taste. Compared to most other general products, GWG really doesn't have much of a tobacco or citrusy flavor, but still has a nice earthiness with hints of salt and bergamot that come out as the wintergreen flavor starts to die down. The lip burn is fantastic if you want a snus you'll feel the second you pop it in, and the average nic content is enough to keep off cravings without getting jittery. The portions are almost similar to playdough in consistency, perhaps due to the mint oils added, and have a slight vanilla aroma / backdrop that is hard to detect but pleasing alongside the wintergreen. Overall, not bad if you like wintergreen, mint, or flavored dip, but you'll probably dislike it if you're a diehard non-flavored snuser.

Got a can of GWG with an order of 01 from GetSnus and kept it in my freezer for months because I was afraid to try it, not being a big fan of minty flavored snus. I gotta say it's very good. The WG flavor is very mild and not too sweet, even though it does burn but in a way I don't find uncomfortable. I can see myself ordering a few cans of GWG from time to time.

I've only had this from the foil packets. Nice sweet wintergreen flavor with a hint of raw sewage in the background. Maybe it should be allowed to breathe a bit? Occasionally the wintergreen oil causes a portion seam to bust -- in transport, not after it's snug in the lip. Background settles down to the standard General flavor after twenty minutes, and the wintergreen remains flavorful for up to ninety minutes. Fans of 'flavored' snus should try this out.

I have one in right now. I like a General Wintergreen once in awhile.

From what I gather, the samples in the foil packs are nowhere near as good as the ones in the tins. Nasty tasting from what Ive heard. Never had them in the foil, just going by what others have said...

Granted im a new user, but I find the taste of this one very favorable. I dont mind the burn, i guess because i smoked I like to know that something is happening. After the initial burn and blandness of the white portion pre-activation, I find the wintergreen-ness, to diminish and the salt to take over. I like to press my tounge on it for the salt and to see if its getting close.

Of course there are those that do not care for Wintergreen Lifesavers that dearly love the General WG.

                          Makes ya go hmmm.....

I'm a new Snuser having only tried several types, but GWG is a 5/5 imo. Like others have said the taste is just like a WG lifesaver, effin good. It's helped me to not think about cigarettes and lasts for a good couple hours. The only thing I don't like is how some tobacco leaks out, hopefully General can fix that. Oh and it burns the ish outta my gums but I think that's just because I'm a snus nub.

I'm also a new snuser, but I had to drop in here and say that this snus tastes great. I think it tastes much better than Thunder Wintergreen. The pouches are really soft too.

Any of you long time snusers notice that the GWG seems to be a tad sweeter?? I tried it for the first time over a year ago, now granted I don't like wintergreen a whole lot, and didn't really care for it.. I cracked a sample pack the other day to give one to a friend, and decided to give it another go....and BAM, it tasted sweeter.

I think when they came out with General Mint (a sweet snus) they decided to add a bit of sweetness to the wintergreen too.
