Developing a liking for Grov shows you are on the way to becoming a true snus connossieur. Grov is one of my favorites. It has a pure, rich tobacco taste, meaning if you like it you are really liking the snus itself rather than some non-tobacco flavor added on top of it.

I bought a Prismaster. Waste of money although not much money it's true. Get yourself a 3ml syringe and make yourself a "ghetto tool" as we call it around here. Do a search on the forum for how-to info and be sure to not use a large amount of loose at first or you might run into problems.

I ordered some loose and a prismaster so I'll see how that goes.
Glad to hear your getting used to Snus, jkh0208. Grovsnus is a good pick. Sometimes i only keep a portion in for 30 mins or so, depending on how i feel. Let us know how you get on with the loose Snus.

Thanks guys! Yeah, I'm liking the Grovsnus and the General a little less than the Grovsnus. I'm not really getting into the Rape too much because it tastes too, I don't know, different I guess. Too obscure for my palate, at least for now. The Gotland green is alright tasting but a little too dry, though it may be that the can dried out a little or something. The prismaster does look pretty crappy, but I figured it would be alright to try out until I can get an icetool later. If I have no luck with the prismaster, I might try the idea with the large syringe if they have them at CVS or somewhere. Thanks!

You won't want a "large" syringe size. A smallish 3ml turned out best for me and quite a few others. Larger usually makes too fat a pris for a new loose user. Too large a pris size is also a problem with the Prismaster.

It really is not hard to hand bake loose snus. And you have better contol over it's shape and size.

This one should serve you well. Just lose the siphon tube and pump.

Lol, I meant relatively large, compared to like a medical syringe needle. My loose snus should come in on Friday. I think my gotland green is completly dried out for some reason. Is it safe to remoisten it with a water spritzer or should I just toss it?

Hi jkh0208. I,m pretty sure you can remoisten snus with a couple of drops of distilled water, close the lid and put in the fridge for a couple days.
Or i,ve read this in another thread here, a small piece of apple in with the snus will rehydrate it as well.

+1 I just cut up some apple and poked some holes in under the ashtray as per that hydrating thread in a tin of Ettan that went a little dry in the fridge on me, seems to be working fine and I don't taste any apple init.

Nah, they're a little drier than most which is good in a way as the flavor lasts for a long time. Gottlands are my favorite to go to sleep with.

That makes sense. It still has flavor, it just takes longer to kick in unless I stick it on my tongue first or put it further back in my mouth.

Thanks! I actually have some yellow on the way, coming in tomorrow, but it's loose. I'll let everyone know how the loose stuff goes for me tomorrow.
