Crud. I wanted a snus all weekend, popped one in on Monday, then said to myself "really?", and threw all my cans out. oh well. General white portion mint was delicious, but perhaps there are more important things in life...)

You could've given them away to smoking friends, but good on you. I started smoking about a year ago when my girlfriend of 5 years broke up with me. I used to keep a half-empty pack of cigarettes to hide joints in when I was in high school and I came across it while packing up to move out of our apartment. After she moved out I started smoking 1-2 cigarettes a day just to see if I remembered how to french inhale and blow smoke rings. Then I started to smoke every time I walked my dog, then every time I had to drive, and before I knew it I was smoking about half a pack a day. It really doesn't take much to form a habit with smoking/nicotine so it's best to just enjoy the occasional cigarette from a friend or cigar around a bon fire, or better yet stay away from it altogether.
I did the e-cig thing for a while and quit for a month but it didn't last. Snus is helping me a lot with my second attempt at quitting, though.Comment
