my first snus experience from dip

well...i just popped in a general original portion...i am a hard grizzly wintergreen dipper (also swallowed the juice of the dip)...i ordered the top 10 snus box from norther...

so here it goes first ever snus is general original portion

first thought..after 5 mins, taste very strange kind of like rubber or something.. very salty..

10 mins in...nick fix kicked in alot stronger than a lip of grizz...starting to enjoy the taste a bit more...feels weird on my throat...

20 mins in...hmm...definately will use again...taste reminds me of tea kind of...

will keep updating on my thoughts

i dont really know what to think about it at the moment

As far as Dog's comments are concerned, I used to smoke and dip, so I use both. I believe they both have their place in my mouth, depending heavily on present company and activity.

I will say that original portions are nice and juicy, and work well in the lower lip. If you shove them down there, they will juice up real well and give you something to spit, if you ever miss the dip.

But loose really is a fine way to use snus, and you should investigate it.

hmmm...about 45 mins later after my second snus. -general orig portion
flavor still going hard...takes a while to get used to the flavor...i cant really say i really enjoy it at the moment...will get used to it most likely

I'm a big fan of variety and always have more than one can open at a time. Ultimately, it's up to you, but I find I enjoy snus more when I have more to choose from..

Yeah, its your call on this one. I had no self control when I first started snusing, and I would open up every can I received almost immediately. I think that maintaining a variety of snus is very helpful in getting over that initial hump when quitting, because it ensures that you will have plenty of options and nicotine to keep the cravings away, but its your call.

Please pay only a measured amount of attention to anything I say. The forum was running a little slow the other night so I thought I’d stir up a little hooey to liven things up a bit.

In all seriousness…………….. though my main gig is los, I uses portions all the time for meetings, presentations, and midget sex

(gotcha :lol: )

Anyway, portions are life savers on those occasions when discretion is in order.

Snus is great in whatever form works best for you. The important thing is that it is not DIP
