    hi from copenhagen

    hello all,

i live in copenhagen and was introduced to snusing 10 years ago by my back-then-girlfriend from Malmö, Sweden. However i never really got into it, since all i tried was the regular generalens portions, where i didn't care much about the bitter juice that came out of it after about half an hour. I used it though to get through long air- or train-rides where you couldn't smoke. Recently i quit smocking cigarettes (from 2 packs a day) and got into vaping e-cigarettes and that also peaked my interest for snusing again. In Denmark loose snus is legal and available at some stores, so i bought myself a can of generalens loose and WOW! i really liked the taste, no bitterness and really great with a cold beer. So i bought myself a can of grov, and found it to be even yummier, what a nice and complex tobacco flavour. Now i am craving for MORE SNUS!

I do have a question though: I haven't had any luck finding anything other than generalens and Grov. Maybe some other Danes could chime in, who know who has a good selection of loose swedish match snus (that's what i am interested in) in copenhagen or for online ordering? The big swedish websites don't seem to deliver loose swedish match snus to denmark, even though you can get it legally in every 7/11 (but only in said two varieties)?

    Welcome to SnusOn!

It's hard for EU members to get SM snus due to some legal issues from Finland over the last year or so. The solution is to pressure your representatives to leave the EU, and return rule to Denmark where it belongs.

For something a little quicker, try some snus not made by SM. V2 has good lössnus, and they're Danish. There's a lot of good brands out there. Check 'em out :^)

Ah another dane! Good to see you mate - It seems like we're getting more and more Danish people on these forums.
      Hej!

And to adress your question - It can be quite the hassle to get SM products in Denmark, but since you live in Copenhagen it is quite simple to go either by car, or by train to Malmö and go the snus stores in town.. You can buy rolls of SM products there for a good deal less than what it costs in Denmark.

        thank you for the welcome!

And I will go to Malmö for sure to buy snus. I somehow was under the impression that it was more expensive in sweden, but now that I know that it's not: What's keeping me here?
Is it best to go to tobacco stores or to the super-market, or isn't there any difference on snus-prices in Sweden?

It should be exactly the same :-)
