It is a pain learning Los sometimes, but once you learn its great. Just leave it be in there for five minutes and let it firm up. Enjoy those first couple of Mudslides! Soon you will laugh about it, trust us.
Other than removal I find a properly hand baked pris is plenty discrete, even a pinch and toss can be with control. I use an empty Gotlands gul tin to pu my loose in. I didn't like gotland grind and moisture on their los much (although gul flavor was interesting) but the can is awesome for keeping los fresh from fridge to pocket and back again.

Ken
that would mean id have to toss my gotlands flader portions in a (blasphemy i know) Skoal Can !!
so its my understanding its best to take it out of the pasteboard can into a empty plastic/metal one is is that just some users preference ?
It depends on how long it takes you to go through a can of los...IMO, los dries out quicker in the cardboard cans. I drop mine in an empty Gotlands los can, those things are like tupperware ;-)
Being a former Copenhagen dipper I actually prefer the wax cardboard tins.
In use I like the wax cardboard tins. In terms of freshness though the gotlands tin does the job best. I use mostly los, portions on an occasion and typically a can of los lasts me about a week.
