Update: Found that Fox snus pouches don't contain any sweeteners (at least not on the declaration) but also found the main culprit for my problems. It was coke zero and similar "sugar free" drinks, that are highly used by keto and carnivore community. I should have known better. Seems pretty obvious now and I feel really stupid. This is why lion diet contains only water, salt and ruminant meat. If you have any autoimmune issues, you really have to take everything out, to get better.

It seems that they still contain a sweetener, so I will keep looking. So sad that they have to push that shit into everything. Thank you for the info.

That seems really strange. Might be just your particular system can't handle the sweetener? Keep us updated

I have used the old school snus off and on for about 12 years. Recently, like a year ago I switched to tobacco free product, like Lyft. After about 6 months problems started to occur. First it was stiff finger joints in the morning, then my right shoulder would hurt after training, then feeling really uncomfortable in my spine, then pain in my knee. I experimented a little. First I switched to carnivore diet and this only helped my dermatitis but other symptoms were still there. Then I quit snus for about a month and everything went away. But because my appetite became horrible I switched back and all the problems came back. I started researching the differences between classical snus and the new one and discovered that new one is packed with sucralose and that this ingredient has big potential at disrupting your gut and causing it to leak. Leaky gut makes parts of food and other stuff to go to your joints and cause inflammation. Yesterday I switched back to tobacco snus and will see what happens. Anybody else had similar experience?

    Eric, get better man.

My daughter has digestive troubles when she eats wheat, dairy or eggs so we don't even allow them in the house. I actually dig this diet and since cutting 90% of the wheat, dairy and egg out of my diet that I used to eat and replacing them with more fruit, veggies and whole grains, nuts and beans I feel a lot healthier. We also don't eat anything pre made in a box (except g/d/e free waffles) We have been eating (and crapping) healthier since. It showed up in an allergy test but I digress... Oh yeah, we also eat meat and fish but in moderation.

We all take Acidophilus (which is a pro-biotic) to aid in our digestion. I crap like a bear every morning. Ask your doc during the follow up if he (or she) thinks it may be a benefit to you and your troubles before you go and home remedy it up but you may need to change up your diet if this is a recurring problem.

I am not a doctor, health specialist or whatever...

I knew you would want to see the other side of the coin, so to speak.

darkwing's experience didn't seem to me to be so farfetched.

In France, as they say: Chacun a son goût.
In my neck of the woods, it's: DUH .. NO SH*T!!
But then that goes for everything!

    Joe's back. Hi joe.

Vegan, I respect ya, man. I really do but I think we have incisors for a reason...tearing flesh.

Fish are dumb though...especially when you're ice fishing. They are hanging out in the freezing cold water and they look up and a hole magically appears and treats get lowered down on a string. Duh. That's natural. Then one of their buddies gets yanked up through the hole and there's more treats lowered down...voila. Maybe they think they're going to heaven or something.

Sausage is also a matter of efficiency. It's the use of the entire animal 'cos it was a way of preserving the meat and the casings were even used from the intestines. It's the right thing to do. The protein used in them would not be otherwise palatable and would be waste. They aren't good for you, I'll give ya that, especially hot dogs but it's better that they're made then not made. We don't kill animals to make sausage (unless you but those kinds and yeah, that's wrong...maybe) we make sausage to so there's less waste. Also I would be any amount of money that the grains that we eat today are at an equally terrible detriment to our environment. I agree the way we raise meat today is not pure but if we were all hunter/gatherers or even like Ted Nugent society would crumble.

Dude, I'm not trying to be a dick. I'm just having a discussion.

Sorry. Now the thread is totally derailed. I just doubled down on the Metamucil and I also swallowed a half-prilla of los tonight. I'll have a colon report in the morning. Ha!
