    Filling fell out

Sucks, my filling fell out. Its on my back right molar at the top near my gum line and comes don to the middle of my tooth...cant drink anything too fast or let it touch that area without it hurting, and can only chew on my left side. i think it came out because my wisdom tooth is pushing up against my back molars... looks like i cant snus on that side anymore

EDIT: also how do i stop it from hurting...

Get another filling :-D. That filling prevents any further decay in the tooth AND acts as insulation for the nerve bundles and softer bone tissue in your teeth. Closer anything exposed gets to those foreign objects the more its going to hurt! Get another filling soon or else the Dentist can't just pop a new one in and he/she might has to numb you up and dig around in there and clean it out again (more expensive)

I was going to suggest morphine, but this works too.

That sucks dude. I lost a filling a few years ago. I was in a movie theater eating popcorn, and bit down on something hard, thought I had a lawsuit!!! Whoo hoo! It's the American lottery!! But alas just a filling.

In the near term get Ambesol http://www.amazon.com/Anbesol-Liquid.../dp/B000GGHSJO

It will numb the area like Novocain and at least help with the pain.

You can find it at most local drugstores.

i like this idea......but i went in this morning and got a new filling in, and got the wisdom tooth that was back there removed...so i have some hydrocodones for the pain.

Last time that happened to me, I ended up with a root canal and a shiny new artificial tooth...
