    Snus and Dentures

I've got a bit of a curiosity here. Anyone here use snus and have dentures? My wifes father needs to quit smoking for health reasons and we started talking to him about snus, he seems interested but his issue is how it'll work out with his dentures.

    Can anyone offer any insight?

I have a partial plate which happens to be 3 of the front most top 4 teeth. So obviously this is the ideal area where the snus resides closest to when top lipping which I do with no problem both with the plate in or out.

I recommend he just use a good everdent type solution nightly to soak them which he likely already does anyhoo. That's my .02 cents for what its worth.

I asked this question a few months ago for a friend, and a bunch of folks responded. dentures does not pose any issue. My friend I asked for is now a very happy snuser.

I have a full set of dentures and I have absolutely no problems using snus, potions or lös. Plenty of nicotine. In fact I have acrylic dentures, and in theory, they aren't as slippery as enamel so I may have an advantage when it comes to lös, less mudmouth. 8)

My mom has dentures and she says that the snus slides around and she can't keep it in place. Wonder what she is doing wrong?

My buddy has full top dentures, and he says he has no problem with using snus. Maybe her dentures are not secure? Or maybe she messes with it too much?
