True - but the real reason for Diabetes, is fake sugar IE: High Fructose Corn Syrup - which is found in almost EVERYTHING!!!Originally posted by tom502It's not the "burger", it's the bun, fries, and sugar soda. Kids are getting obese and diabetic more than ever. Candy, cakes, chips, and more soda.
I ate of tons junk food growing up in the 70's but everyone was thin then - reason - no HFCS and we actually had gym class, and walked or biked everywhere

The study of PAHs in moist snuff, which was published last week, was reported entirely without context. Forum members might be interested to read my scientific critique of this study. It's available at http://rodutobaccotruth.blogspot.com, and it's somewhat technical, but there are straightforward take-home messages putting this research into perspective.

Thanks Brad,
Another thing about PAH exposure is even no matter what magic number actually is in a can of tobacco, our actual exposure to it is a fraction of what is in the can (unless we are eating it). We only get a percentage of the nicotine in a can, I'm sure our exposure to PAHs are no different.

Actually sage, grilled meat is linked to chemicals called polyaromatic carbons. When meat is charred these molecules are released, which have been identified as possibly increasing your risk of cancer.Originally posted by sagedilAs for the truth of their claims beyond that, perhaps it is true. Same would be then said then for steak cooked on the grill.

Now not to say eating steak or ribs will give you cancer, but the process of fire seems to change most organic foodstuffs.

by BasseBluesThis has gotten long overdue, but I finally managed to put together a video and a post at creatinker.com from the harvest and curing of my tobacco. I...After a warm and sunny season with a good amount of rain, it's time to harvest and cure the tobacco. A new thing I'm trying for the first time is to cure the tobacco outside only sheltered from the rain. This has prevented most of the tobacco to dry in a green state. If it got dry during the day, the higher humidity during the night and the morning dew made it moist and supple again during the night.
