Just bout to finish day 3! Even found a 1/2 pack in car and managed to resist. I have noticed the strong snus such as thunder and oden es seems to be hitting a bit harder. I. Sure that's due to a change in the delivery method but so far so good.

mlkramer, that third day is the bitch. for me, after i had passed that, there were some times when i was tempted to puff but the thought of having to go through that 3'rd day again squashed that shit down.

22 years of smoking 4 months now of only snus and I feel dirty just thinking of a cigarette. This breathing thing is uber cool.

I'm on day 8 of being smokefree - my best advice so far is do not keep cigarettes around the house. At least for me, if I know I have them I will smoke the whole pack. If you feel you really want/need one, bum it or offer to buy for a bit of change.

The first few days was the hardest because going out for a smoke was so ingrained into my daily routine. I started with the Camel snus that I was able to purchase locally - they were taking the edge off when the nicotine cravings hit but left me wanting a bit more. I finally received my first order from getsnus.com three days ago and it's been so much easier. The higher potency is just what I needed.

Not bad at all! The first few days was the hardest because I'm such a "routine" based guy (wife pokes fun at my almost OCD compulsions at times). Even though the snus was satisfying my nicotine cravings, certain activities/times were just always associated with a smoke. It was just a matter of of telling myself "Oh yea, I don't smoke anymore - time to pop a snus" and the urge would pass in seconds.

Another big thing for me has been the ability to find this little niche of the snus community. It's exciting to be a part of something that many people I know have never even heard of - probably more-so as a beginner. Instead of thinking about cigarettes I find myself planning my next can to try, reading the forums, researching online, pondering future orders, etc.

                      Appreciate the congrats guys!

Congrats on the non smoking. It is routine that messes me up too. I've conquered quite a few of those demons though. I can have my morning coffee, drive to work, work all day, drive home without thinking of smoking. When I get home around my wife who has cigs. laying around, and we sit on the porch and drink a few beers, the cigs. start calling. Thunder Frosted has made this easier though. I think I'm just gonna have to exercise a little bit of willpower at night. Beer is not good for boosting willpower though!

                            Great job my good man

I was the same way. I went two days and day three I actually tried a cig. It tasted so awful and it felt like the smoke scorched my lungs for that brief dismissal. I haven't gone to a cig since. If you fAll off don't go down on yourself. It will eventually lead you to either quit or have a drastic reduction on smoking.

                                Quitting

3 weeks here. I have smoked for well over 20 years and have tried every way imaginable to quit. All I can say is snus works!
