Okay, it's no mystery that if you snus and don't brush you teeth and do other necessary things, it'll stain your teeth a rather unattractive colour. I've been better since I first noticed this about these things, but I have one lingering issue. The tooth in between my right canine and my right front centre is set slightly back from the rest of my teeth. I'm trying to get at it really well, but it still is doing much worse than the rest of my teeth. I'm using Tom's of Maine toothpaste with flouride, Scope whitening mouthwash, and Oral-B indicator floss. Any suggestions on what I could do to keep this tooth from turning ugly?
Dental hygiene.

Other than what you're doing now, I don't know. But don't over brush, or brush too hard, I switched to a soft brush, as I have heard most gum reccession is from hard brushing. Yeah, I know you didn''t mention gums, but tooth stain. There is, I think, some kind of whiting gel, that is placed on the teeth. But I always thought these things arn't good for the enamel.

Well my teeth color-wise were already screwed from coffee and cigars before I even started snusing.
I brush twice a day, rinse once or twice a day, and floss once a day (sometimes). I have noticed since I started really going at it with the mouth wash and brushing the stains have lifted a little, but I'm perfectly happy to resign myself to having stained teeth. Hey, that's why they built tooth whitening into photoshop, right?

My routine involves natural (it really is, even though natural is a relative statement these days) fluoride free toothpaste, a Sonicare brush, tea tree oil floss, and a good mouthwash. My dentist noticed the cigarette stains on the back of my incisors, even a year after I quit, and questioned me about them. I told him I have been quit for a year, and showed him the snus. He had no clue, no indication visible in my mouth that I was a smokeless tobacco user. So, another A+ checkup with a little help from snus!

Not really too worried about yellow teeth, the dentist cleans it off anyways, as long as my teeth and gums are healthy.
I too use a Braun and is pretty effective and you cant brush too hard with it. My teeth are whiter than they've ever been since quitting cigs.
