Coughing

Anyone cough from using snus from throat irritation? I have not smoked in almost a year and a half but still cough...and I think it is because of my throat being irritated. Wondering if anyone has this problem?

Since quitting smoking, my coughing has decreased by probably 95%! Personally, snus has never caused me to cough. I would recommend drinking water while you snus to easy throat irritation. During the morning and night, drink hot mint tea, it does wonders for throat irritation.

I cough due to snus occasionally. Montecristo lös is most likely to cause it. What happens is a bit of snus juice hits the back of my throat wrong, and it starts a coughing fit. It doesn't last long, and it's fairly rare, so I don't worry about it.

I get a snus cough now and then too.

I agree with snusjus, having a beverage handy helps.

For me Onyx will trigger a cough if I get a bit of juice hits the top of my throat.

yup, I get that little throat itch from time to time, but nothing like my cough when I was trying to quit smoking. Now snus-sneezing? It happened to me today, I travel locally for work on weekends and I was talking to a lady and her German Shep, I petted the guy, and as I walked away I sneezed and put my hand up just in time to catch the General Onyx that was forcefully ejected from my lip. Luckily no one witnessed me catching a soggy black object and re-inserting it into my mouth. ops:

I definitely snus-sneeze. I, however, have never had a problem with keeping my pris in place during a sneeze. Good thing, too, sounds embarrasing...:wink:

Only recently I have been sneezing after I cough. Good thing I am not my wife because I would be pissing my pants every time I had a three-cough-two-sneeze fit.

I get it a little, but not too bad.

While I snus I get a scratchy throat that I need to clear sometimes, and I usually just have a swig of water or tea...

Otherwise, it's been a night and day difference in how much I cough... I used to cough frequently, but since I quit I don't have a smoking related cough at all anymore...
