Well i am 46 years old and was smoking a pack and half a day of camel wides and wanted to quit smoking and tried the nicotine gum and tried cold turkey once both were torture i am a wuss when it comes to strong withdraws. Any way did not even know about snus until there was this cupon in one of my packs of cigs. Any way man 16 days now with out a smoke the first week was a little hard, but on a scale to 1 to 10 about about a 4. Did not think it would be this easy. I've been useing about 14 pouches a day now. Can not wait to get my hands on some of the sweedish snus. Yes i realize its another addiction but so much healthier than smoking.

I went thru exactly what you described. 30 year smoker, Camel lights for most of those years - and one day I find Camel Snus....

Smoke free 3rd week and no desire for a cig at all.....

Wait til you get hold of the Sweedish stuff - you're in for a treat!!

I am 43 and smoked for 30 yrs and am now smoke free. I, being a past smoker, enjoy Skruf Stark and Ettan. They are both pretty much tobacco flavor. You may want to try them.

Either way let us know what you do try.

Since you were a heavy smoker, I would recommend using strong portion snus. After a couple of months, you may feel you can ween off the strong brands and go to a normal brand. Personally, I almost always purchase strong snus, since I am very dependent on nicotine still.
