    At The Dentist!

So I am at the dentist....just got x-rays and such done (I bit an olive pit)

    Gums look good!

Few small cavities but gums are fine.

Almost three years of m0stly los use and no issues.

Lucky you. My gums are a bit worn away in a couple of places, not because of los, from vigorous brushing. That's not so good. And ... part of my back tooth has broke off, i've got a temporary filling kit i keep filling it with, it falls out every 3 or 4 weeks. I've not got the cash to get it looked at right now.

I'm not so good in this department either.

Think I've been snusing for 6 years or so (95% portions) and have 2 deep pockets and 3/4 gum recession on top. I really should quit but that's easier said than done. Hopefully I'll manage it one day.

If i had to have a gum graft and it be needed only every 6 years then i think i'd take that over any lung problems which are likely irreparable.

Good to hear, Monkey! I don't have any problems with my gums or teeth either. A slight gum recession where I place the snus, but it's minimal. Haven't had caries since I started snusing - and I have it all the time before.

You mean cavities? If you do then it's been the same for me, not a problem since snussing.

Yeah, cavities. Haha, here in Sweden, the common word is just "hole in the tooth", or the more fancy word: "karies".

In romanian we say "carii" to "karies"

Nice Monkey! My gums have improved dramatically over the past couple years since I started snus. The dentist attributes it to quitting smoking, she doesn't know I use snus, just says, "whatever you're doing, keep it up, it's helping" LOL

I told them I used tobacco on the check list when I got there (new dentist) but they never asked about it.....maybe rebuilding my tooth distracted them. ;-)

I am sure I will hear about it at my cleaning.....or at least have to explain snus.
