I have the absolute answer to make Mr & Mrs DOTD happy! Mr can continue to use snus and avoid irritation to his mouth and ears (from the mrs) by placing the portions in his rectum!! Voila!!! Case closed!

She's just trying to help her family, albeit by questionable means (trusting strangers on the internet to impart knowledge for the health of her family). I'm not trying to tell anyone what to do, but that divorce shit is pretty cold. Ease up.
Hey we are not strangers on the internet .. we are the "COUNCIL of SNUS!!!"

Sorry if i offended you. I can only say again how i feel... i think he'll be fine but obviously it's difficult to say for certain. I would say to him snuson. But if he's looking to quit tobacco altogether then i wish you both luck.
so how many times do we have to repeat this? You need more info please go here and look for an answer.
Please consider seeing a therapist. They can really help. It's so important you don't keep all these emotions bottled up.
I'm not mocking you in any way but I think your overwrought concerns are affecting your daily life, and your family's, in more ways than two.
btw, for the dentist to hold you accountable for your husband's actions is very unprofessional on his/her part. If your daughter was the subject of concern that would be a different story; your husband, though, is not a child so please stop treating him as one.

Ok so you guys are really not fare. Let me put a few things on the table. First I don't hate snus... I am the one who ordered for him and talked him into switching from dip to snus when he started dipping again. If it wasn't for me he would still be dipping. Second I don't have any problem with snus I just want to know if snus can irritate a lesion that was formed from dip???? I know snus doesn't cause cancer and I am very glad for that. The reason I am asking is because he had a previous lesion in his mouth. I came across an study that nicotine gum causes mouth cancer ESP if there is a lesion present in the mouth. So I know snus has more nicotine in it than the gum so I was wandering if snus has the same affect? I am nit wanting you all to tell me snus is bad. I am just looking for experienced snuser who once used dip and develop a lesion from the dip that the snus didn't cause any problem to the previousley existing lesion. This is the answer I am looking for. That's it. I am looking for support to tell me snus will be the best option for him. I don't want him to resent me. I have never told him what to do and I sure don't want to start now. I just want to know what's best for him health wise and I don't know of a single dentist or doctor in the US that is gong to condone the use of snus. Trust me I have asked. I just want peace of mind that snus will not hurt him any more like the dip did. Lastly I don't resent him. I am glad I dint smoke anymore. That's it so please don't judge me.
I carry my keys and change in my left front pocket, and when I need my cell phone that goes in there as well. I keep a pocket knife and a tin of snus...
Tom from American Smokeless Tobacco in Virginia sent me a nice little sample pack of Discreet snus. Here is a breakdown of what I got and my thoughts...
