Even some American dip starts out low in TSNA's bit they climb quickly.. It's Your right to want what you want and more power to you..

To answer your question I believe that In addition to GN Pioneer Snus which is made in Laos is also not steam pasteurized. I am not saying anyone else should care if it is or not but I do and it looks like you do as well.
    As do I...

Nasal snuff does get me stuffed up at times. But I do believe it is considered the safest tobacco usage method.

I do use nasal snuff on occasion, but it seems to a aggravate my sinusitis. Snus is also more enjoyable.

The curing method of tobacco is FAR more important than the preparation. The question is "air cured or not", and AFAIK, all snus makers use air cured tobacco.

To answer your question, I suspect Gellivare Snus uses fermentation rather than steam pasteurization due to their very small size, but I'm only guessing. I have no issues using their, or GN's snus, and you shouldn't either.

Most snus companies do use steam pasteurization with GN being one of the few exceptions but even so the TSNA levels in non-steam snus varieties are far below those of dip, and of course wildly lower than any smoked product, so any concerns over this issue are basically unwarranted.
