Snus isn't healthy, unhealthy, or anything else; it just is. It's a product some people enjoy, and others don't. Life's here to enjoy, and I'll do it the way I see fit. I'd just as soon die right now if I can't do what I please in life. Also, there's nothing wrong with dying. Everybody does it, and it doesn't matter what you eat or do. Guess what? You're gonna die; get over it. Only scared monkeys are afraid of dying.

Nicotine isn't the most addictive substance. That's flat out bullshit propagated by the anti tobacco zealots. I know that, and you know that, as does everyone else in this thread. Just stop, ok? Most of us are intelligent adults, and we don't like being bullshit ;^)

Hmm... That ended up being shorter than expected. Somehow I covered everything in 2 very short paragraphs. Brevity is your friend ;^)
yea that covered about everything. good post bud
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

Good. Tobacco is more losers who can't otherwise maintain and or improve their dopamine and endorphins levels, they just try to mask it with the use of synthetically enriched substances. We "bandaid" the real problem that goes much deeper than what we reveal on the surface.

I quit snus in April two years ago. I was clean until November the same year, when the depression the lack of vitamin N causes reached a stage when professional help - read "antidepressants until they make you a vegetable" - was recommended by everyone around me including the closest family, wife and two older children. As a last desperate resort before submitting myself to become a certified nut case I tried some tobacco that had been lying forgotten in a rucksack from one of our family hikes for almost a year.

The clinical depression went POOF! Just like that. One MINUTE I was sort of suicidal, "never liking anything in life", had a history of months of just lying around at my work pretending I actually do something (I am self-employed, nobody knew the full truth but me), next minute I was full of energy and the only regret I have had since then is the time I lost torturing myself.

By the way, as much as I can tell, my bad heart and hypertension did not worsen at all when I started snusing again. I do it in moderation, but my body seems to agree...

                  So much on quitting snus.

You are right. However I have "mental problems", Schizophrenia, and they say HIGH doses of niacin B3 (Vitamin B) with HIGH doses of Vitamin C is a 90% sure cure. Will include source:

The last one is more informative, but CHECK OUT video NR1.
I am afraid to go so high in Niacin B3 doses although I have 2 cans of Niacin B3 500mg & Vitamin C 1000MG right in front of me. Thats why I can't tell you guys if it works... Notice that ANY level/dose on Niacin will give a red skin itch / flush. This is normal but I HATE IT.

That's exactly what it was. Nothing held against you for quitting at all it was simply the way you came across in your first post or the way in which it was read by other members.

I had to give up a couple of vices in my life for my family, medical reasons, etc. I really enjoy tobacco and yeah snus is not perfect and neither am I. I'm allowed at least one guilty pleasure in life. You quit and that's great. You just don't have to be a douche about it. Why even post on here anymore after this thread? Might as well delete your account. I doubt you will be missed.

There's no greater sinner than a sinner saved.

This thread interested me enough to check out that killthecan website. Not because I want to quit snus, but because I wanted to see a "support" forum for smokeless tobacco and how it works. The whole "addict" and "user" rhetoric used by the OP is rampant throughout that website. It's like a lifetime of AA meetings rolled into an online resource and modified for dippers. Reminds me of Half Baked:

"Hi, my name is Bill and I'm addicted to snus."
                                Crowd, "Hi Bill."
Bob Saget, "Snus is not a drug. I used to suck dick for coke. Now that's an addiction. You ever suck some dick for snus?"

My theory is that the OP feels the need to think through his addiction issues out loud to justify his actions, and is doing so in this thread. The problem with trying to impart your views on Snuson is that nobody here is trying to be "saved." We enjoy snus, and like to talk about our hobby with like-minded folks. If you abuse snus like others abuse real drugs like cocaine or heroin, then sure, you should probably consider quitting and start using terms like "addict" and "user." In the meantime, I am going to pop in a pris of General ES los and enjoy the fact that I am not lighting up a cigarette.
