panic attacks can manifest itself in many ways and intensities.
yep! I guess it's related to anxiety and panic attacks.......

Here my insurance Co bought me a hot lil hooker, got us a classy hotel room at a hilton, furnished a minibar [but I couldnt drink liquor],, we hung out for a while then I poped a couple of vallium and laid down. I woke up in the morning to a real sweet smile and coffee. We chatted for a while, I left and got a bill for $1250 that the insurance paid.

apparently my insurance co uses cheaper hookers
    that's a cheap hooker in U.S?

You can get two luxurios ones here for that money (overnight stay) :^) Wait not over night...... it's 500 Euros or 600$ over the weekend for one :^) or $1250 for two lol

It was nice but I didn't get laid. and she sat there and watched me all night.........
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

I was hooked up to machines. Took her a good 30 minutes to shave and prep and put all the sensors on me. That was fun.

They can find out alot about your health in a sleep study. And more people have sleep apnea than you can imagine

they are a lot cheaper than they used to be. but don't have it done in a hospital then its alot more $. its pretty important to have a study done.

I suffer from sleep apnea as well, and I agree with other posters comments. It's worth having a sleep study done. Between starting treament for apnea 4 years ago, and quitting smoking 3 years ago, so many little bothers and ailments have simply resolved themselves, it's pretty amazing. And if it's not sleep apnea, they'll be able to see what it actually is.

I'll maybe have the test sometime for the sake of it..... but I think it's anxiety ..... qutting caffeine cold turkey ain't that easy as I though............the first couple of days are ok maybe because there' still caffeine in the system......

I get all sort of weird symtoms during the day and feel very tired, nauseaous and dizzy.......

These are actually classic symptoms of sleep apnea.

these symptoms only started in the last couple of days since I've quit caffeine ....

plus I don't snore at all..... and the suffocating sensations have only been happening last night....... haven't had them in years......

By the way..... people with sleep apnea - I've been reading this on a forum today............. that many people with sleep apneea get muscle pain, joint pain, stiffness of the whole body .........

I get back pain and head stiffness and in the face...... could this be related? (it doesn't always happen) ............................

P.S I still doubt it's sleep apneea since I don't wake up several times during the night........ I maybe wake up once or twice a week on normal basis...... could it be sleep apnea?

                          bingo.

you won't even know that you wake up.

hey precious I have had the same thing happen to me before, last year for about a week, I would wake up just after falling asleep gasping for air, It scared the shit out of me. I would sit up for a few minutes then go back to sleep and the same thing would happen again. It got so bad I was scared to go back to sleep, and my girlfriend would stay awake and watch me. I thought I was going to die. It has not happened but maybe once in the last six months. Let me know what you find out cause it sucks, I feel for you bro, scary shit. P.s. Chaini Kahni saffron is the worst snus ever.

Sounds more like sleep paralysis or/and anxiety to me.

                                http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sleep_paralysis

I've had what you describe maybe once or twice. It has nothing to do with apnea (which is when you stop breathing for periods during your sleep), since you don't wake up like you say you do. With sleep apnea, you do it unconsciously, often when you snore a lot, and get the symptoms during the day.

The feelings you describe though are very common, especially with stressed people.

My advice to you is to cut down on your nicotine (as nicotine is stressful) and caffeine usage (although I think I read somewhere that you quit caffeine... not sure). Start exercising and don't do anything stimulating maybe 30 minutes before you go to bed. No computer, no music, no phone, just sit and relax.
