The only reason why these were sh1t is because they had American 'soldiers' in it and the whole world knows that American soldiers are fat and stupid.

Hurt Locker was well made (sound editing, directing, acting etc) but outlandishly ridiculous in that US soldier do not go around in single-vehicle convoys with no apparent chain of command, doing whatever the **** they want, blowing shit up for fun and dashing through the slums of Baghdad at night in hooded sweatshirts. And they don't get hammered in their barracks and wrestle each other. At least, that's my understanding of it. Hell, maybe they do.

From the Marines I've known, I wouldn't put it past them...though the lack of a chain of command definitely didn't make sense.

I agree on No Country for Old Men...great movie!

Here are a few more: Gran Turino, Law Abiding Citizen, and Felon. And then, of course, pretty much anything with Jason Statham...except maybe Crank 2, that was just plain f'd up.

And Bruno, we can't forget Bruno.

Oh, and I recently watched a Swedish film, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, and that was good. And I saw a Norwegian zombie film called Dod Sno(Dead Snow), and it was OK.

You son of a bitch frosted....

Remind me who runs this playground again if you could? Oooh, right, the fat ugly Americans. We don't even need to win wars anymore (or be skinny for that matter), we're so ballin over here we'll spend 1 million$ per soldier just to prove a point. We don't care if we win. It's like that kid at school who never wins a fight, but if you say something that pisses him off he'll come out swinging every time. It doesn't matter if he loses the fight, because everyone knows that if you start shit he's coming after you and your gonna get hit at least once. After doing that a few times you just leave him alone.

Say our name 3 times like candyman Frosted, maybe we can deploy some fat stupid Americans to a theatre near you!

@ Roo: You'd be surprised. It's rare but people do get alcohol sometimes. I didn’t see the movie so I’m no sure what your talking about but I can tell you no one rolls around just doing as they please lol. I heard soldiers were pissed because of how unrealistic the movie was though so you’re probably right.

Also, being in EOD is such a sucky job, that’s almost as stupid as being an 88M who drives the LMTV fuel truck around everywhere, why the **** would you sign up to do that?

If you noticed, near the beginning of the movie, there is a can of General snus on the table when they were in a cabin.

I missed that, but I was looking for the odd chance something might be there. I might go back and look.

Well I was just looking up the Coen brothers and have found out that the master film makers are doing a new True Grit scheduled for release around christmas. Jeff Bridges as Rooster Cogburn. I am so stoked right now......

I saw "The girl with the dragon tattoo" as well, kind fo intiresting but also kind of weird. A noticeably foreign movie.

Just finished 'a serious man'. Yep - great flick. I don't quite know why I like the coen brothers yet - maybe because it's like a kind of pulp fiction that doesn't go anywhere yet goes somewhere. I get quite immersed in their films and always find them seriously funny. The acting and production is impeccable.

I've just watched 2012 and it is by far the worst movie I've ever seen - WTF?
