I propose that frosted sank the oil well on this date for a reason.

The oil spil occured on 4/20/2010, right? Well guess what. Wait for it... Hitler's birthday was 4/20/1889. Coincidence?

And furthermore, there is a 9-11 connection. Follow my math:

9/11/01 = 111th day counting backwards
4/20/10 = 111th day counting forwards
3142? days between events
pi = 3.142

4/20= 111 days into the year……9/11= 111 days from the end of the year.

That's the point. Every nation has been guilty of it at one point of another, but there is no reason to murder kids and women and innocent people on their own countries land for crossing into a buffer zone that is rightfully palestines. They shot an 8 year old boy in the face and blew the back of his head out. IDF soldiers did that. completely uncalled for. look up the pictures I'll remember his name in a bit. And we support this. we support israel in shooting down civilians on their own soil.

The only thing I can really think of at the moment is their constant threats of pre-emptive nuclear strikes, but if you count the Cold War we've done that. Seriously, though, if a country so much as looks at Israel the wrong way, there's a press release the next day, "X country has been mean to us. We reserve our right to protect ourselves from anyone who disagrees with us in the slightest, and will take pre-emptive action if they push our buttons one more time." For the most part it's just bravado, but they carry out a fair number of those promises too. I'll agree with you that it's not our fight to referee, but I think the fight would be negligible had someone realized that back in '48. I'm sure there would be some who would have bitched and moaned for a while anyway, but if the Israelis had actually fought for their land and won a war of conquest, as opposed to having it given to them by the UN and the British, Hamas and Hezbollah would have no legs left to stand on aside from some jihadist rhetoric. I'm pretty sure the Israelis could have won it too, because whatever else I may say about them, they are damn good at fighting. Had that happened, I'd not have any sympathy for the Palestinian state movement, because as I say about the Israelis when they talk about their "right" to the land, "You lost your right to this land when another group came along and conquered you and drove you out of it. Just because you really like it now, doesn't mean you deserve it." Had the reconquered their current land, rather than receiving it as a "Our bad 'bout not stopping that Holocaust thing earlier" gift, and the Palestinians moaned about their right to the land, I'd have to say the same thing about them I say of the Israelis now.

Might makes right isn't a pretty philosophy, but it's kind of the major underpinning of the entire concept of war. The guy with the strongest army becomes acknowledged as the dude with the biggest dick, and the other guy becomes his bitch. Sort of the whole premise of war, really.

Actually, the one thing Israel does that nobody else practices (at least not on nearly the same scale) is the Settler's movement. There is a fair share terrorist-style activity in their expansion, and they only aggravate the situation further, I feel. So, that being said, Lazer come post the pic about internet arguments and the Special Olympics, we'll probably be there soon, Israel's been brought up. The odds of having a rational debate on the internet about this without a flamewar is about as good as the chances of Bill Gates having a rational debate of race relations in Harlem.
