Oh noes!!!! Keith's liberal vision for Amerika is under threat.....

Social Security IS a ponzi scheme.

A Ponzi scheme is a fraudulent investment operation that pays returns to separate investors from their own money or money paid by subsequent investors, rather than from any actual profit earned. The Ponzi scheme usually entices new investors by offering returns other investments cannot guarantee, in the form of short-term returns that are either abnormally high or unusually consistent. The perpetuation of the returns that a Ponzi scheme advertises and pays requires an ever-increasing flow of money from investors to keep the scheme going.
I'm not going to listen to a man who is so deluded that he labels people extremists just because they label Social Security for what it is, atleast they recognize we have to actually try to fix the problem.

Would either of you guys pipes or JT vote for the Tea Party candidates if they other choice was democrats. I hope they do get into our government because I think when they do its going to be one heck of show. People seem to forget that the Dems and Obama where elected more so for the fact that they weren't republicans. People got fed up with them not running the show right. Now they are going to be put back in there and everything points to fact that they will make a colossal mess of the system. After Nov 2 they will be known as the FUBAR party.

I support the Tea Party. I don't agree with it all, but I agree with it more than the other.

True, but the teabaggers like their Constitution cafeteria style. Take some, leave some...

That's both (or all 3 if you consider them a party), either directly or tacitly. The republicans do something insane and the dems go along with it, with what effectively amounts to a little grumbling or (as seems to be the case more), the dems do something wacky and the republicans just kinda let it slide. The constitution is hardly considered by either of them, unless it can be taken out of context to fit their specific agenda. As a Constitutionalist, I'm not a big fan of either of them. (read: they make me f-ing sick). I really don't know a lot about the tea party folks, and I'm certainly not going to form an opinion of them based on what the media tells me. But, I will say buffet style is certainly better than totally ignoring the constitution- unless they try to apply it to illegals or terrorist suspects. Those groups get all the constitutional protections they can stand. Other than that, I'd say my observations are that party line and allegiance is more important than the constitution to these people. Im not arguing either way, just the way I see it...IMHO. YMMV, etc.

The Tea Party is 40% idiots, 45% cloaked Republicrats, 5% confused, and 10% real patriots.

I don't know if I can support a party that's only ~10% right. We need a real multiparty here, but the Tea Party isn't it imo.

Either way, say you're a 'patriot' (not the BS redefinition of 'patriot'), or align your political thought with Constitutional principles, and you will automatically be labeled an 'extremist'. We are beyond ****ed. Just waiting for the bubble to pop.

                      I don't vote party, I vote issues.

Sarah Palin (Tea Party) vs. Obama = Obama
Ron Paul (Tea Party) vs. Obama = Ron Paul

Just because I don't like the way the country is going doesn't mean I'm willing to hand over the country to idiots.

I'm dreaming here but what I'd like to see is removal of the option to vote straight party.

If you want to vote for all Democrats, or all Republicans, you can still do it but you have to vote for each candidate individually.
