Here's the thing, I don't agree with virtually ANYTHING Israel is doing right now. Like I said in the other thread I think they are going about it all the wrong way. But, look at this logically for a second. People are on the border murdering your civilians, you strike back, you strike back HARDER to prove your point. They still want to fire rockets onto your citizens even after a cease fire? All out war. I understand they have been jewing up the land around them and I don't agree with it but again, this is between two entities that are not myself. The Palestinians are a weak people and in real life Goliath would kill David for throwing stones at him. That's what's happening here, we have some losers provoking a power greater then themselves, then wondering why they get the smack down laid on them. Is it right? No. Is it the way of the world? Yes. You would have a very different opinion of this situation if you lived in these areas. If you were in Israel and your house gets hit with “just a couple of scuds” you would be pissed. Conversely, if you were a Palestinian and you got shoved off your land you would be pissed. As someone several thousand miles away and unaware of the situation on the ground, I am trying to figure out why you seem to only care when Israel does something bad, yet look the other way when the Palestinians slaughter innocents in Israel. Why do the Palestinians lives have more value than Israeli lives?

The winner always takes the heat. We took the heat in WWII for dropping the nukes, but guess what.. (We won)

Lol, Israel is always pulling the "my bad" routine every time they do somethign stupid or illegal. First of all US ships are CLEARLY marked, and also they have this thing called a radio that works pretty well at identifying things.

I think the reality is that there are always little wars and exchanges between different countries that go unreported (or reported as an accident etc). Like if Israel was pissed and did this as retaliation for something, but then the media covers it up so that we don't have to goto war with them. I think this happens a lot, intelligence is very tightly controlled in this country and Israel as well.
