The system, has been built like a house of cards, but on a strong foundation built by the founders. It will only be a matter of time until we add the final card and the house comes crumbling down. But, we will still be left with a strong foundation to build on. Things must always get worse before they get better.
However, I know America is a great country. There are many countries, China for one, where voicing disapproval of the government in public/online is enough to get your door knocked down at ungodly-thirty. There is not too many countries that offer as much freedom of speech as America. The drawback here is that while America may have the most freedoms, America may also have the most irresponsible citizens. Freedom + Irresponsibility= ______________(insert negative consequence here).
Perhaps someone here who has traveled (or lives) abroad can enlighten me, but it seems that Americans fail to take accountability for their actions. Everything is someone else's fault. Is this something unique to Americans or is it becoming a world wide problem. Where did all this stem from?
