Hey We'll be there tomorrow, Ought be fun to watch with friends on snuson. If your game, I would like to wager a can of snus, losers choice from stash, on the three game series. So wadda ya think?
When the Tigers used to finish the year just ahead of the Royals in the AL Central, my uncle in Detroit sent me a bumper sticker that said, "Thank God for the Kansas City Royals" with an old English D logo on it.
Thinking about purchasing a bat & glove & ball from this site. http://www.xxl.no/ballsport-spill/an...sport/baseball
Are these products any good? Wood or Aluminum? Maybe find some guys who play for fun around in my area. Not many baseball fans in Norway.
Wood all the way man. As for the site, i have no clue, but if i were you I'd find a shop here in the states that ships internationally. I mean c'mon man it is our sport. Louisville slugger, mizuno, easton wilson rawlings, these are all the big time purveyors. check this place out for bats even if you go with the cheapest their good. also make sure you know what size you need do a little more research and make the best choice you can. Just for clarity aluminum bats are good but if you want to swing like a major leaguer I'd go with wood. There's nothing like the sound of a hard ball hitting a hard wood bat.

Thanks guys. Love the sound when a hard ball hits the hard wood bat aswell Do you play by the way? I find alot of usefull information on youtube on batting and how to pitch.
Doing some research on size now.. And as long as the price is under 200KR (33$) it'll go through customs without problems.
But I will need a glove and few... ehm.. balls.
Don't play much anymore, but I love the game, it's as pure as a game can be. I played a lot when I was young. Up untill a couple years ago I played a lot of beer league (softball) look it up. How old are you xrt?

Beer league, sounds fun. I turn 24 this october. Been a fan of the MLB for about 2-3 years now & NHL fan for 5 years.
MLB over NHL though. It really is a pure game, it is so fascinating.. Just need to get my arse in gear and do some research to find if anyone plays here in Norway.
I have been a loyal Braves fan since I found out they were moving to Atlanta in 1964. I have also been an occasional fan of the Pirates, Cardinals, and Reds. Maybe a few others from time to time.
I love baseball, it is by far my favorite spectator sport. The highlight of my baseball life was being present for Henry Aaron's 715th home run. I still have my ticket stub.
Well i wish you good luck in your endeavors man. But also check if you got some beer leagues before you purchase any equipment. Because if you are lucky enough to find some guys with a beer league the equipment is a bit different. Also it's a lot of fun for the most part. Yeah you get some hot headed used to be stars who take it far too seriously, but they are usually in the minority. Also, i need to get off my ass and start playing again as well, f uck I'm only 34 and hopefully far from dead....

Hey tim, do you like listening to a game just as much if not more than watching it. I do. Something about baseball lends itself to a mental picture like nothing else. Kinda like reading a good short story, i guess is the best thing I can compare it too.

Did you watch today's game? Brewers @ Braves.
Since I follow the Pittsburgh Penguins I keep an eye on the Pirates, I like Andrew McCutchen & Garrett Jones.
But Brewers are my team Would be awesome to visit Milwaukee for a few days, watch a ballgame. Maybe get an autograph If I'm lucky
Of course money don't grow on trees. But dreams can come through.
