I've still never tried an American snus product. I'm pretty sure it's become a lame point-of-pride by now. I've come this far, I figure by now, screw it. I'm not trying it, come hell or high water.

Edit: I've tried Discreet to convince my fiance that it wasn't that bad. I'm a good liar

At least discreet almost tasted like dip in a way. Really, go buy some klondike so you can know what the exact opposite of awesome is. It's terrible. I bought like 40$ worth from jonathon when he opened and I literally snussed it once and just called my loses after that and it's been in my drawer ever since.

What am I saving it for? Nuclear war, zombie apocalypse? No, even then times wouldn't be dire enough for me to want Klondike.

I just gave them a good blasting also.

Some of the questions they asked made me feel like they do in fact know what is wrong with their product, questions about saltiness, dryness, uncomfortable portions etc etc.

Maybe they are truly going to take our comments to heart and actually develop a SNUS that absolutely blows away the Swedish stuff............

They couldn't if they tried. Swedish snus is literally the holy grail of tobacco. It's like improving on the wheel, there's not much room to work with.


I love the "buy america" movement in many ways, but I am a true free market advocate and frankly america's tobacco arsenal is inferior in both price and quality. Sweden takes the cake for best product and therefore they get every tobacco dollar I will ever spend.

Also, did you notice in the part where you drag and drop pictures of products you would use in a certain situation, that they used a picture of Swedish snus, and not Camel SNUS?

I answered the questions honestly, and with thought. I gave Camel snus high marks for a couple of the questions; I think one was packaging. On the whole though, there's no way they could take my answers as being in support of their snus.

Btw, I really got hung up on a couple of the marketing speak questions. I don't even remember what they are now, but I wasn't even sure what they meant, much less how they related to a tobacco product :^D

Just took the second survey, It's hard to take these things seriously, It's like they haven't even researched real snus. WTF? why solicit our opinions if it doesn't matter? Stooooopid bastards. I'l take their money tho. I did notice they didn't tell me I was getting money or when this time. anybody else take it? The new search works much better BTW. I did get my first check like a month ago, so I'll assume their good for it.

I just took it as well. You're right about them not saying when/if the incentive checks would be sent, guess we'll see. Looks like they've also started a sweepstakes each month for $500, $250, and $100 so that's a nice little plus.
