Just watched Withnail & I. Very funny movie.

What the hell is up with tru tv??? Copying good shows like pawn stars and storage wars? Hard core pawn is a piece of shit.. The main guy is a greasy douchebag and the interactions look fake as hell. I dvred this storage hunters to give it a shot.. It's crap! You can tell its fake. A signed guns n roses contract left in a storage locker? The guys that are bidding look like they are acting. At least the characters on pawn stars and storage wars are somewhat likeable. These guys are all douches acting its horrible. Court TV was decent this truTV copying successfull shows is laughable. What is next American Finders? When they go on a pick they get in fist fights with the home owner? Rediculous.

Hmmm..I dunno...TruTV always plays that "Worlds Dumbest..." show and I laugh at least once per episode, usually more. But I am waiting for that stupid show 'Operation Repo' to be cancelled, I can't even stand watching the commercials for that asinine fake show!

I rarely go to the movie theater but I went tonight to see a special early screening of, "Captain America." I was pleasantly surprised! The movie started a tad slow but picked up quickly! Lots of explosions and many funny parts! Bottom line: go see it! If you have kids, there was constant violence, shooting & fighting and a couple split second gory scenes but absolutely no sexual stuff and I don't recall one cuss word.

I just watched The Mist today. It's based on a Stephen King story of the same name. Great movie. Same director as The Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile. Very different from those films though. From what i read, the director was going for a 50's B movie feel. It has a crazy ending.

I mentioned this documentary in the Netflix thread because I think everyone should watch it...

Just finished watching it. It was very interestig, disturbing, but interesting. It bugged me seeing the young kids surrounded by drugs and alcohol.

life aquatic is one funky Picture show. I love Bill Murray but that one had me questioning WTF was going on the whole time. I warmed to it towards the end tho and over all have to give it 2.5 stars......... Let's just say this.... It is no Rushmore or Broken Flowers......

I too have enjoyed Falling Skies, we'll see how it plays out though. I'm a sucker for sci-fi...I miss Heroes, V and the Event...I'm pissed they got cancelled.

I'm with you there, i love sci-fi. I never watched Heroes but did hear good things about it. I really enjoyed V and The Event as well. V more so; maybe because i watched the original when i was a kid with my father, but i was really enjoying it. All the newer shows i've been getting into have been cancelled, hopefully Falling Skies sticks around. It looks promising so far.

I've started watchig the series Falling Skies on TNT. Reminds me of War of the Worlds as it's about an alien invasion.
