The new Arrested development season is streaming on Netflix in it's entirety. There are some great guest actors and some really "in" jokes in the first few episodes I've watched....

I also like the Following, But the way they left it off at the season Finale... They can either continue with the psycho bitch emma or did Joe really die and come back.... Yeah! I know, Sounds like a soap but not by any means.... They could just end the show too the way they left it off, Wouldn't be the first time they left off a show like that to never return.
The wife loves the Following, but I just couldn't get into it...guess it's Kevin Bacon, lol. I'm not a fan. Another show we started watching and I highly recommend it, is Hannibal. It's based on the book Red Dragon, and it's crazy as shit! The guy they have playing Hannibal Lecter is giving Anthony Hopkins a run for his money, IMO. And, I reaaaaally dig Sir Anthony, he's one of my all time favorite actors, but the guy playing Lecter in the TV series, is fan-fsckingtastic!

There are already some week storytelling tactics I think, for example they tell that girl Charlie all these things that should be obvious to her, like "the militia controls all the guns" and "so-and-so is the General of the militia", as a way of informing the audience of the storyline. It makes it feel a little rushed and amateurish. A voiceover even would have been better. Seems like it would make a better book. There is plenty of cheese to be mopped up on this show, but yeah it's watchable and I'm in for a few more.
I've never been much of a reviewer of things. I can never seem to get the words just right. Thanks for doing it for me rooski. That was a spot on analysis... Tho I think you should watch the first episode to get a lil more background...... As you said they are moving pretty fast. I think it's due to the fact that JJ Abrahms doesn't have faith in the viewing public after his experience with Fringe which from a ratings stand point should have never made it past season 2. But it did due to high level help within the Fox organization......

I have found a little randomness to the library. It seems the more you watch the more they add to the list. God Bless was pretty good and really caught a feel for USA's mainstream society.

Recently watched this one. I cannot remember which family Extreme was from.

I agree Blue. Best movie I've seen in a long time.

Last movie I watched was Triumph Des Willens. It had some good shots of prewar Germany, but it was kind of tiresome. Lots of Hitler speeches and martial music :^D

I want to get the Why We Fight series next. It was inspired by the filmography of Triumph Des Willens, but from the allied perspective.
