I've been watching "The Event" on TV. It's not that great, but it's just interesting enough to keep me going...

I've been watching a lot of Stargate SG-1 lately. I've seen the movie but never watched the show until about a month ago. There are times that i love hulu; all 10 seasons available.

Drag Me to Hell was pretty good, I liked it.
I watched Survivor last night. For some reason the guy at the end was mentioning gays. It was kinda weird. He didn't really say anything negative, but the impression was he was saying someone is gay, and said New York was fulls of gays.
Eh... but what I thought interesting was the black ghetto acting girl, wanted to make a minority alliance with the half black guy and the asian girl. Just think if a white player said that. I'd rather have the gay questioner than the racist alliance.

I just watched Drag Me to Hell. It's a good flick, directed by Sam Raimi. Lot's of Evil Dead style slapstick...

Actually just watched this on hulu. Definitely see what you mean about the skipping around, hopefully that won't continue the whole show. Does look very interesting though, definitely enjoyed the pilot episode.

Did anyone watch that new series premire last Monday, called "The Event"?
I did. Apart from the distracting hopping back and forth in time, it seemed promising to me.
It has a big ET element.
Seems these "people" are being held in some prison in the Arctic. The President(a black guy) says we don't do that in America, and wants them released. His advisers and General says no, that's a bad idea. But he does anyway, and is set to make a public announcement.
Also, this airline pilots daughter is kidnapped and wife killed. And he is later flying a plane, having killed the co-pilot, to crash it into where the President is going to make his annoucement.
The hero is also on the plane, trying to stop it, he's also the boyfriend of the daughter(who disappears, and we can only guess she is kidnapped, forcing the pilot to do this).
And while secret service tries to protect the President, along with a woman, who is the "leader" of the people he is setting free from being held, the plane is bearing down to them, all of a sudden a big "wormhole" opens in the sky, and swallows the plane.
Everyone is stunned and can't figure out what happened, and then the "leader" woman says, "they saved us".
Comes on on Mondays at 9pm. This was the 1st episode.

I watched Attack of the Puppet People last night. This was very good, and while the ending was OK, I was expecting something more exciting and climactic.

They've been running this 2009 streetfighter movie the legend of Chun-li on Hbo lately and I watched it the other night. Not good , but it was almost worth it to watch Chris Kline (Oz from American Pie) Over act and cheese every scene he's in. Oh great I didn't have to waste an hour and a half theirs youtube of everything he says in the movie.
