Here's that same icing nozzle in action:

Very sinister looking tubes, but why are half of them facing the wrong way?

The plane is not for spraying the atmosphere, itโ€™s for sampling the atmosphere. Itโ€™s a research aircraft, registration N701BN, operated by th e department of energyโ€™s national labs. Itโ€™s pretty much one of a kind, so itโ€™s hardly likely to be responsible for all the persistent contrails we see every day. The research is mostly on pollutants in the atmosphere, particularly from coal and oil burning power plants. But they also investigate the properties of clouds, which includes contrails.

Thanks for the info justin! That's what's great about this place is someone can always answer with something new. Seems like there is nothing sinister about anything in those pictures. Cool gear though (the icing thing).

Doesn't change the fact that I believe what i've seen but these pictures are obviously depicting very different things than I had assumed. Not that things couldn't have more than one purpose, but still

Also, these geniuses say that the governments spraying the people with something? Well, it's 10s of thousands of feet up. What is it going to do down here again? If it does come down eventually, where's it going to land? Te government scientists must be thoroughly retarded if they grid a section of sky, and expect it to fall underneath it.

The "chemtrails" story is so full of holes, there's no place to start for debunking. Are we back to being monkeys again, making up stories for things we don't understand? That's how god was created, and we're finally almost rid of him, we don't need any more gods....

Be nice, i'm just bored and looking at pictures on the internet. Im sure they all mean nothing but I am sure about what I am many californians are seeing. I don't think they are spraying anything with the intentions of it coming down and harming anyone, as that would be retarded since everyone lives under the sky lol... although they did do that in san francisco which led to quite a few deaths, but that's another story.

Several patents have been taken out involving technology to spray particulate matter into the atmosphere by government contractors for 2 reasons, creating long range antennae and to mitigate against global warming. It has been brought up by elected officials, secretaries of defense, chemtrails have been attempted to be banned by congress, and several countries openly admit spraying chemtrails to alter the weather such as China, so i'm not the only one who thinks this is happening. But like most pictures you find on conspiracy websites, these are improperly used to lend validity to something that is unrelated. Thanks for the info Justin.

My problem is with the chemtrail conspiracy sites in general. The whole story doesn't even pass my first level plausibility switch. You might as well be telling me purple hippos deliver eggs to the supermarkets every day :^D

All those conspiracy sites are the same. They use cherry picked, doctored, and misinterpreted evidence to come to the wrong conclusion every time. Some of the shit they propagate doesn't even pass 6th grade science. The conspiracy /I'd/ be interested in is what their motives are. I have a hard time believing they're that stupid, so what's the real motive; entertainment, hoax, or something more?

                        Glad that picture was explained.

Here is a BBC article about a trail of spraying in Norfolk England. This was almost 45 years ago. I wonder how advanced and secret they could be about it today.

Look justin, I get it that you are smarter and more experienced than me, but that is what I would expect from someone 20 YEARS MY SENIOR. Perhaps someday I will be as enlightened as you.

Untill then, I don't know what I believe and always try and take everything with a grain of salt, but I know something is happening. Not questioning things you see wrong would be being a sheep. Blindly believing what every conspiracy website says also makes you a sheep. I do neither.

Yah they have admitted spraying where I live on more than one occassion. One time in San Francisco that got a lot of people killed.

And recently they did it in santa cruz as well: They spent 74 million to spray san francisco and santa cruz with pesticides to kill some moth.
They've been spraying here since at least the 60's and claim theyr not every time, then years later they declassify it. So i'm not crazy as my claims are backed up by the government who admits to it over and over again. They did a bunch of other spraying up here to test how a biological agent would disperse on literraly dozens of times.

So to say my claims are completely baseless isn't fair unless you think the government is lying about spraying down here.

The Light Brown Apple Moth campaign is messed up but it has nothing to do with contrails or chemtrails. The aircrafts used for actually spraying chemicals are not Boeing or Airbus jets. Being from California I'm sure you know what they look like. It's just not the same thing at all, but when conspiracy theorists get word of government programs using planes to spray chemicals they start whacking off to it. Unfortunately for them, the types of aircraft involved directly contradict their chemtrail theories and pictures. Correct me if I'm wrong...

On another note, I saw the Boeing 787 Dreamliner in flight two days ago right over Seattle, very close to the ground, on a test run from Everett. I bet it was stocked full of those barrels. Nice links Justin, pretty interesting.

I'm not saying the moth thing was chemtrails or using the same planes. And I don't know what type of aircraft were used in the hundreds of biological warfare tests done since the 60's. What I am saying is that the government has declassified information about many times that it has sprayed chemicals that little were known about and turned out to be harmfull in several cases. They claim it's not happening and then admit it later. What makes me think that has stopped?

If they fool people 100 times, what makes you think they will not do it again? I really don't care if everyone makes fun of me on some internet forum. I was just curious if anyone else had noticed this where they live. I know the difference between a contrail and a chemtrail. I noticed this phenomena before ever seeing it on any conspiracy site, and only later upon googling it did I find out that other people noticed this as well.

Thank you all for your time.
