Same as Blair Witch Project. I remember coming home from that with a girl when it came out, "Oh man, can you believe it's based on a true story?" She was so scared.

        My ass!

Like the Amityville "Horror" or what was it...."Hoax?" Alot of good reads online about that, if you have time to read into it or how it was fabricated, as well.

actually was referring to 2012 lol

i never take paranormal movies seriously because they always throw in so much extra crap

id rather take a board out to the graveyard kick over some tombstones and then have cameras set up...might catch something tearing me apart(now that would be a movie )

I saw Paranormal Activity last weekend. It was complete rubbish. The first hour of the movie is nothing but talking. The end of the movie gets pretty spooky, but nothing to write home about. I wouldn't recommend spending $9.00 to see a movie filmed with a camcorder. At least I get into the movie theater for free, or I would be pissed.

2012 looks like an overproduced Michael Bay disaster film. But, I'll probably see it anyway.

2012 is gonna(or could) create mass hysteria like back in the day when they were doing that little martian skit on the radio and people started committing suicide and all that fun stuff because they thought they were actually being invaded by aliens

                        Same as 1999.

That 2012 crap is insane. People believe it's the end of the world.

                        1. Christian people believe this. According to the Bible, "No man knows the day or the hour." So Christians believing this is dumb.
                        2. The Mayans. OMG, the Mayans. Everytime I hear BS about that, I quote this article I read online.

"The Mayan's never predicted the destruction of the Earth on this day, instead they said great change would happen on this day. They never said what the great change was, it could be the destruction of the Earth, however, others speculate it to be a shift from our old ways, a kind of a spiritual evolution (I on the other hand believe no such spiritual evolution will occur). Also the calendar might be just reset from 13.0.0.0.0 to 0.0.0.0.1. Some say that on this day the Earth will align itself with the galactic plane, this is false though, it will not align with galactic center. No where does it say the doomsday will occur on December 21st 2012. We tend to think beginning to end, which is completely different then how the Mayan's think, they thought in cycles, their calendar does not end it is just another cycle.

Do not live in fear because nothing will happen on this day, it will just be another day except the doomsayers will feel really foolish. However, it is always important to have a plan for natural disasters as these could occur at any time. It is important to have enough water and food to last you a month, as well as survival clothes. I urge you right now to make a survival kit for you and your family and always be prepared. Right now there is a lot more to worry about then 2012."

Any good? I got it coming in Netflix today and never got a chance to see it in theaters. I liked the first one, and was a huge Transformers fan when I was a wee little lad. I remember seeing the first transformers (you know the one where there dancing to "Dare To Be Stupid" at the end) in the theater. The whole theater was filled with kids crying (myself included)because they killed of Optimus. What a bunch of bastards.
