The way that I can tell if I'm in a "6 point beer" state is when I go inside their gas stations. If there's hard liquor being sold inside the gas station, then it's a 6 point beer state.

Edit: This used to be my rule of thumb, but after doing some research, I don't think it's accurate. Some websites are saying that Missouri is a low-point beer state, but I know I've bought liquor in grocery stores there. Maybe ol' F. Bandersnatch will come along and help me out here. He's a Missourian.

Right on! Me too! Sure I like to treat myself occasionally, but for everyday around the house drinkin', discount liquor store beer.

My staples: Pabst Blue Ribbon (the 16 oz. tallboys) and Mickey's Big Mouth Malt Liquor. I'll occasionally toss some Little Kings, Moosehead, or the big ass 25 oz. Foster's Ale in there to change things up.

I don't know about Kentucky, but Oklahoma is a 3.2% alcohol state, so if I want real beer I have to go to the liquor store. I haven't bought grocery store beer in years.

I'm a cheapie when it comes to alcohol buying, Steel Reserve, Miller, whatever.
I got a big jug of this vodka last Saturday for $10.

So, it sounds wierd, but for 2 years I only drank liquor because I hated the taste of beer. Well in the past few months, I finally tried a beer I like(red stripe). Since I could identify a taste I like in it(sort of the sweet "back of the throat" taste), I tried other beers and found that taste in all of them.

Now I have no standards at all. I buy 12 packs of milwaukee's best ice from the corner store. It has alot of alcohol and tastes fine to me. I'm the opposite of a beer snob, and I see no reason to change. I drink old crow bourbon(the cheapest "straight" bourbon available), chase it with MBI, and I'm in heaven.

my only other "on the cheap" suggestion is Traveler's club gin. It's like $9-12 a handle, and it's totally drinkable without that "bottom shelf, plastic bottle vodka" aftertaste. I chase it with something fruity, but it's mild enough to chase with just about everything.

So there you have it, that's all I keep at the house above.

Otherwise, I'm chasing Wild Turkey with G. Schneider & Sohns Doppel Weizenbock. If you don't know, that's some good-ass beer. Moving on to the next one. Ayinger Doppelbock. I waste too much money on excellent beer, but I'm okay with that. After a day like today at the office, **** it.
Any specific reason? For me, just the majority of the audience annoys me. I try to ignore them and just enjoy the music.

visiON, good that you have no hangover lol. To be completely honest i have NEVER had a hangover. If i get completely wasted, the next morning i wake up super early, 6.30-7.30, wide awake and ready to go. It's awesome.
