Over 20 years I changed many times, but Parliament Lights were my last brand...

I loved Parliament lights. Too damned expensive though. My favorite was Kamel Red Lights but they too were VERY proud of their cigarettes.

I started smoking with Kamel Reds.

Smoke Marlboro Lights mostly. (still a pack a week)

Like Davidoff Kings now and then if I had a hair in my ass to spend extra money.

        Marlboro reds now and then.

Benson and Hedges are good too if I had the dough.

Could not smoke more than half of a menthol anything.

I started with Marlboro Reds and then eventually switched to Marlboro Light 100's. Only time I would smoke anything else was when I was poor and had to wait for payday and would smoke whatever 2 fer 1 deal there was to get my nicotine.

Since starting snus 28 days ago I have not smoked anything and have not found any particular snus that is my one and only yet.

It was for the children....always for the children. :P

Seriously though, I think they were starting to get a little desperate to keep people interested; the abrupt ending of the Camel Cash promotion did not go over well at all. They also had a tendency to come out with new flavors, and then take them away just as people were starting to like them (wow, that sounds kind of familiar...)

They used to put a lot of time into their site, but now it looks as if they have all but abandoned it. I posted a little on the boards over there, but now it's just made up of old-school post whores being general assholes and noobs bitching about how they still have thousands of Camel Cash and no way to spend it.

            Sad degeneration.

i started smoking lucky strikes when i was 14. smoked marlboro, camels, or winston. depended on which one had the best deal that week. i've only bought 2 packs since i started snusing. i had about 12 packs laying around when my first order came in. i still have 2 packs left. a pack of camel non filters, and a pack of davidoff. those may be the last cigs i smoke.

Funny you should mention that. For whatever reason, no matter how much I tried to sign up with them, whether on the website or whathaveyou, they wouldn't send me shit! All my buddies would AT LEAST get coupons in the mail.

One of them got to test out the new flavored cigarettes - which I believe ending being called Bold, or some shit. And on top of that, just for testing them and giving feedback they sent him a carton of the type he liked (which btw were all white with generic type on the front).

He even got snus that he gave to me. This was well before I heard them product testing it - I remember it came in a circular can that was white/tan. I liked them then but don't remember if they're comparable now.

                  Smokes

EX SMOKER 8 1/2 MONTHS! YIPPEE! 22 years of messing up my lungs is over.

My main brand was Camel Wide Regular.
My luxury brand was Galitier Dark or Dunhill Reds.
My alternate brand was Malboro Red regular size.
                  Exotics were clove cigs.
Anything cheap when I had to make due.

Menthols made me gasp for air.

Usually it was American Spirit Yellow or Blue. Or their rolling tobacco. Sometimes Nat Sherman, Dunhill, Djarum or Lucky Strike unfiltered.

Now when I smoke I make my own. I use the American Spirit organic rolling tobacco in Gambler Light tubes. I don't smoke factory made cigarettes anymore because of the FSC-legislation.

If you don't know what FSC is, type "fire-safe cigarette" into Google and get enlightened.

I started out with Queens, Kings, Cecil Green, Pall Mall and finally settled with Camel. All of the above are unfiltered. From time to time I'll RYO some Drum, Samson or Bali Red.

Smoked for 15 years, since I was 13/14. I smoked cutters choice (RYO) with liquorice papers and menthol tips. I tried more than 20 times to quit, sometimes in vain, sometimes quite successfully (I quit once for 1 year and a half). Quitting with snus is soooo much easier, it should be more widely publicised imo. Clear lungs, healthy arteries, no stinky flat, food is great, the list goes on...

This might not be a shock to many of you but I just found out that cigs in Missouri went up 2 dollars a pack and 7.5 dollars a carton. I am so damn glad I no longer smoke. 5 dollars for a pack of cigs is steep! On the bright side, more should come over to our side of enlightenment and cost savings.

Yeah, smokes in Ohio will be $7 as of April 1st. Some places are already jacking the prices. Average was $4 last month.

I haven't paid $7.50 a carton since I was in the Air Farce in the mid 80's.

My bad. Cartons went up to about 36/37 dollars from 29 or so. If cigs were $7.50 a carton you better believe I would be trafficking them to other states.
