I didn't expect to like "Miracle" but Spike Lee is usually pretty awesome. I like the kid always referring to the big guy as his "Chocolate Giant" LOL 8)

+1 - Very funny classic. Peter Sellers (who plays most of the cast lol  ) is great. Very black, especially the part where the chap tries to budge the bomb in the plane, then ends up falling with it to his doom, and his apparent glee.

Just saw it. Not bad. Spike Lee always makes movies worth watching. If you have not seen the movie Do The Right Thing than you need to. Spikes first and best IMO.

EDIT: Not Spikes first but one of.

Sellers was actually originally cast to play that part as well - the cowboy pilot. I think he had to admit that even he had his limits and they ended up getting Slim Pickens to do it instead

                  hamburger hill
any movie with heavy sniper activity based on actual events.

                  apocalypse now. NAPALM!
to hell and back. crazy little man!
the Alvin York movie... can you say nucking futs?!
M*A*S*H was pretty darn good too.

I was privledged enough to grow up with an O-6 who was one of the very few who survived pork chop hill, so that movie holds a special place with me.

I didn't like this one. I respect it but it was too unrealistic for me at points. Not sure if the congs really forced POW into russian ruellet(how the f is that spelled?) or if the it was just hollywood sculpting a script.

The war movie I cannot wait to come out is Inglorious Bastards! The Coen brothers have not disappointed me yet.

Dr Strangelove is the the best by far.
