Hurrah, my first post after getting drawn in by the yummy in my tummy (or perhaps just yummy and not in my tummy) snus.

I only know the Norwegian word for what I do, and it's "Tavlemontør". I have no idea what it is in English, so here, have a couple of pics:

I basicly build these. If anyone know the English word for my job, please do tell. I've been wondering about it for years.

I try and do as little as possible as much as I can. However, I have bills to pay so my wife and I have a child preschool and I breed large parrots for commercial entertainment use [Disney, Busch Gardens, Rainforest cafe, zoos, wildlife parks, resorts, casinos, etc.] and for private homes. Except most homes cannot afford the Hyacinth Macaws tho and thats what I specialize in. I do not sell to pet shops at all whatsoever. Ya all can go to my website and check me out if you want. premiumparrots.com
    PP

I also sell macaw feathers on ebay for something to do. I don't have much to do with the preschool and the parrot care only takes about 30 minutes a day of my time. So I sell feathers on ebay to the native americans for their ceremonies and such.

Guess I'll sort of introduce myself too:

I'm about to finish my undergraduate work in Russian linguistics, then I'll start graduate school. I spend a lot of time in my university's 9-story library ( 8) ) so snus is perfect for me.

And speaking of languages, discussing snus seems to be a great time to practice my Swedish :P

    Hello

This is a good a place as any to introduce myself...

I'm a firefighter and slowly working toward degree on the side although I'll probably retire before I graduate

Made my first snus purchase a week ago and am enjoying it immensely- I don't see myself going back to American dip or cigarettes.

After reading though this thread it is nice to know I am not the only one who sucks at math.

    Great forum!!!

I am a chemist. My title is actually Analytical Chemist II. I essentially test products so they meet label claim. Nothing too exciting. It is as many of my fellow workers call "cook book" chemistry. I am geared to become a process engineer which I hope will happen some day. My masters degree is in Paper Science, Engineering, and Printing. The school I went to focused on the paper machine, coating, and printing side of paper manufacture. The less focused side at the school was pulping and bleaching. I don't suppose any one else out there majored in this? I loved the coating area of study. So why I am a chemist now? It was a bad time to graduate. Four out of six papermills around the area closed along with the recession. Life is funny is it not?

I'm an undergrad at NYU (hopefully Cornell next year) studying comparative literature, but actually continental philosophy (which is traditionally housed outside of American philosophy departments, notably in compLit).

I am currently working on my 2 yr degree which I am just about done with. I also have been working on my CompTIA certifications for the last few months and have a few more months to get what I can done. So far I completed my A+ certification and IT technician and hopefully have my Network and Security certifications completed within the next 2 months. Then depending on what kind of time I got left with the CompTIA program I will try to get a few more certifications completed. I love working with computers. Nothing else I would ever wanna do in my life honestly.
