    Pain in the ass...

Police forced man to have anal surgery during crazy drug search, now settling for $1.6 million

David Eckert–the man who was stopped by police, suspected of drug possession, driven to a hospital, driven to a second hospital, forced to undergo multiple invasive surgeries, and billed for the abuse after no drugs were found–has obtained a $1.6 million settlement with New Mexico local authorities.

That's insufficient. The cops should be fired, and brought up on assault charges. Additionally, they should be sued in civil court. The reason this shit happens is there's no repercussions. The people they're abusing are the ones that pay the damages(through taxes), and the perpetrators are merely inconvenienced. This won't stop until individuals feel real pain for their actions. Same as the rest of us do...

It's much worse that a judge issued a warrant for that search. I always figured that, if it's up your a$$, you can keep it. Nobody should want it anymore.

totally agree with this and would take it one step further. Move it up the chain anybody who had as little as a "fingerprint" on this invasion should be prosecuted as well. Remember 5 yrs ago I was crying tyranny and people were calling me a conspiracy theorist? Well it's all happening and it is quickening at this point. I hope that now that it's happening faster people will wake up faster but I am concerned that it's happening so fast that the sleepers won't have time to catch up.....

I agree, I watched a show about us customs at JFK recently who stopped a bloke off a flight from Paris and accused him of being a drug mule. Just say there and said you're lying you have drugs constantly to him, guy denied it at every opportunity, everything he said checked out, but that wasn't good enough for the customs fools! They ended up forcing him to have a scan which, surprise surprise, showed nothing and they let him go. It was the bullying of the customs people that shocked me and the sheer accusations without ANY proof other than, the man was Nigerian and had money, so he must be a drug mule! You would think that when the hospital he was going to confirmed he was due there for an operation they would get the hint but no! Total wankers!
