They do not have the typical T of Pennsylvania... Philadelphia, Pittsburgh are ultra liberal crazy people, the middle and northern tier is god fearing white folk... I'm proud to live in Pennsyltucky.

I drove to the Florida Keys for my vacation this year. Everything went well until I hit South Carolina... friendly people? Nah.... I don't think so... same with Georgia and the upper portion of Florida. Speed traps and rude people were everywhere. Friendly people returned when I hit lower Florida. Being from Pennsylvania, I found WV, VA and NC to be very friendly... not so for SC, GA and the upper part of FL. The roadside rest stops down there tell the entire story... "Armed Guard on Duty." I was also fascinated by the chain gangs! It was like a cross between Cool Hand Luke and I Am a Fugitive from a Georgia Chain Gang!Originally posted by Grim View Post

During Obama's first campaign tour of PA, he visited the middle and northern tier. This guy with a bible and open carrying a Glock seemed to rattle some of the good folk... he was arrested and released 24 hours later because he was not doing anything illegal in PA. Obama took note of the incident and commented on it in other states he was to visit later. Central PA where I'm from (York, Harrisburg, Williamsport) is yuns as in yuns guys

I live in Yankeedom. More specifically Massachusetts.
Left Wing Liberal is the kindest way of saying "Folks here will vote for the Democratic Candidate on the ballot unless he or she is currently in prison with no chance of parole".
In that particular case they will just stay home.
We're a slim tad behind the people in Berkeley or San Francisco. But I'm splitting hairs on that one.
