My bad! Everyone has different tastes, I do prefer the Tripels though.

Pabst Blue Ribbon tall boys and Mickey's malt liquor stay stocked plentiful because they don't break my wallet considering I drink a lot.

Then I like to spruce up the fridge with a six pack of something more premium. I recently I had something called Moose Drool and Trout Slayer from Big Sky Brewing in Montana. Excellent stuff.

Left Coast Brewing out of San Clemente CA just got their paperwork in order for selling beer in WA state. Just polished off a 22 of Hop Juice Imperial IPA, 9.7% ABV. It was delicious and strong. Dammit what happened to The Alcohol Thread?

I held off on trying Summerfest for a long time, mistakenly thinking that it was a fruity wheat beer. When I visited their brewery in Chico earlier this year we sampled all 16 of their current beers and I was most impressed by the Torpedo IPA you mentioned, the Southern Hemisphere Harvest IPA (hops from New Zealand), and the Summerfest.

Otherwise I'm partial to IPAs (Lagunitas is one of the best in my book) and malty red ales (as long as they are not sweet - Red Tail Ale is a good one).
