In July, going to see the Dave Matthews Band Caravan 3 day festival. Anyone from up there know any cool shit to do? I'll be there a week.
Going to Chicago.

I always end up in the division street bars. Lincoln Park scene is good too but a little more expensive, there also is a more college aged area but not sure where that it is.
Contemporary art museum, HIstory museum, A walk around navy pier

CHicago is a great town. There are a million things to do there. It's the 3rd largest city in the country. You name it, you can do it..

The Shedd Aquarium is pretty cool, huge but cool. I would also say you should venture over to China Town on the south end for an afternoon. Lots of good food and shops to check out. Oh, and make sure you get a slice of authentic Chicago style pizza at Gino's.

New York style pizza is where it's at. Chicago style is worth trying to know it's not worth squat :P
Lincoln Park zoo is free admission

Go to the Museum of Science and Industry. It's huge, and they have all kinds of amazing exhibits. Plan at least a half-day there, if you want to see everything.
There's a boat cruise that focuses on Chicago history and architecture that is supposed to be very good. I didn't go myself, but some friends of mine raved about it. They're New Yorkers and world travelers, so they're not easily impressed.
And if you like Spanish tapas cuisine, visit Cafe Iberico. Great food and service, but get there early, unless you want to wait for a table. It fills up fast.

Gino's East or Pizzeria Uno are both great, but the best pizza in Chicago is Pizzeria Due. All are near each other downtown, and don't leave the city without eating some authentic Chicago Deep Dish pizza. Lou Malnati's is also a good choice, not sure where their city locations are though. You also must get an italian beef sandwich at either Al's Beef or Mr. Beef, or Portillo's but you get more for your money at the first two.Originally posted by chadizzy1 View PostIs that Pizzaria Uno?
